Running "lean" means there is too little fuel which will create more heat and cause the car to knock / ping = not good for engine

Just check you have the molex to serial adapter for the MTX-L you will need to calibrate the new O2. I suggest you calibrate the old O2 to check. If you treat them badly they can go out.

@@WongStreet2Track The LSU 4.9 must be installed 15 cm from the collector 10 O clock or 2 O clock to let condensation drip off. You can use a serial to USB converter which will work fine with the Log Works or LM programmer. You can calibrate without software. just turn the MTX-L on without the LSU and then plug it in and let it sit in free air. Then put it in the exhaust.
