Woke up every single morning this week with “IF YOU SHOULD DIIE BEFORE ME Ask if you can bring a frieee-eh-eehnd” Took me a minute to even place it. Haven’t heard Purple in years. I do get random songs in my head, but Scott Weiland wound me up with this one. Seriously, cat jumps on bavk, peeing, and I’m immediately singing this chorus. World is weird but it’s cool and I like this song. Had to type the lyrics to even remember which album it’s on. Brains n memories are fucked up…

Just watched this. "now I'm in hiding" Takes me back when this song came out. Just divorced, lost my kids, my job, took a shit job. Hearing this takes me back to that shit job after a lunch break, listening this song played up loud, gathering up enough energy to go on. I did go on. All is well. but the power of music takes me back to that moment and I am in tears.
