Honestly, id give just about anything to own an example like this. Modern ones are alright, but just dont have the heart and soul in them as these do. These are preserved works of art in my opinion. Its why i got into ship design and naval engineering. I havent "worked" a day on a decade and a half. Love it.

My family had a similar model build in the early 60's at Tacoma Shipbuilding. Loved this updated version and I have so many great memories. Ours was Alaska Cedar. Wish I knew if she was setill afloat.

I have bought and sold a few boats over the past 30 years of being on the water in British Columbia. These guys are the absolute best way to get on or off the water. Best brokerage in BC hands down!

This is not the original boat. It is a replica. It did not start filming in 1964. 1963 was principal photography. The opening and establishing shots were filmed in HI, NOT CA. It did not run for 36 seasons. So many false statements. This man has deluded himself as most people with million dollar hobbies do. It is very beautiful as a replica, but the lie ruins the beauty! Just say "it's an exact replica" and I would applause it! Why lie about it?
