Hmmm! Well Hard Gimmicks sure makes the game spicier! I see it also introduces enemies with unused colors, but sadly those enemies have not been programmed to function the way they should (i.e. Pink Color-Changing Enemy will not change colors). I wonder if someone can fix that!

Yeah the way this game is programmed, only blue and red monsters can carry color changing or blinking (double bomb) properties. The person that made the randomizer is gonna try to fix some of the bugs with it.

Yes. It's a little weird for a Tetris game to have rubber-banding AI, but indeed this particular Tetris game does.

I will say though that while it is ideal to make large chains and/or lots of tetris/pentris, unfortunately, it is not risk-free, and what happened starting at 8:14 perfectly explains why! After you made a 5x chain that included a tetris, Pete recieved multiple white 5x5 blocks, allowing him to possibly make multiple pentris! Fortunately, because his board was uneven, he didn't make pentris, but he did however made multiple tetris, which almost gave him the victory! Your opponents receiving multiple 5x5 blocks while they have boards even enough to make pentris is always worst case scenario when you attack them strongly!

@@dockside2012 Yes, that's one of the rare cases where countering magic pieces can backfire in a big way. Unfortunately getting a bunch of 4x4 blocks is also really bad since you can't clear lines by stacking them side by side to each other, so you pretty much have to try to counter them to avoid being forced to top out.

When the game starts showing the rankings, you can press Left or Right to switch between Normal Mode, Section Time, Doubles Mode, and Grand Master rankings. You may have to wait a bit after you finish a credit or after a game demo.
