I disagree with this soecific analogy. If you show up to the gym everyday, eventually you will do more, because the results are based on effort. Your job isn't, your promotion isn't. Ask anyone that's been passed over, giving 110%,promotions usually go to family and brown nosers
@RickyCarilli3 ай бұрын
@@rumple76 ehhh. I know a lot of people showing up to the gym for years and dont make gains. And I’ve seen a lot of other people hit it hard for 3 months and have progress progress. But its okay we disagree. I love hearing people’s honest feedback 👍 thank you
@burnkingssn76593 ай бұрын
80% of results come from 20% of the work! Quality always beats quality. You can hit the major lifts in a HIIT set in 5-15 minutes to get your cardio and a full body strength workout in for the week. Understand minimum effective dose and maximum effective dose so you can min/max your time and results in life where you need them!

Had an NCO when I served, he was average on measurements and linguistics, like he stumbled when reading sometimes and I had to correct him on some measurements cause he kept rounding up or down. But he always outshone everybody on just figuring shit out. That ability to look at a problem and say “I need x and y and leave it to us” was just a beautiful thing I wish I learned better in life.

MASSIVE value in that ability and it's something that is not taught in schools or universities.

Don’t keep drilling your pilot hole when you hit wood. It’s easy to tell when your switches from the drywall to the wood. The second you feel wood, stop drilling the pilot and just switch over to the wood screw. No fix needed
@pocketjokers13 ай бұрын
Simple fix you had the answer in your hand originally ! Just cut the plastic anchor off with a to the depth of drywall 1/2" shove it in your hole put screw in Done !
@RickyCarilli3 ай бұрын
@@pocketjokers1 that’s an option also lol didn’t think of that. But I already drilled into the stud too wide. 🤷🏻♂️
@mkoewf-pi8rw3 ай бұрын
Toothpicks n woodglue. Just shove em in there. The toothpicks have a narrower end, than the match so it'll be easy to squeeze more material into the wood. Can even hammer em down some.
@joedaggett44453 ай бұрын
when u drilled your hole you didn't notice that you were screwing into a stud after you went into the drywall? just get a longer screw or just use the plastic anchor its only supposed to go into the drywall anyway unless u made the hole too wide in the drywall some how.
@RickyCarilli3 ай бұрын
@@joedaggett4445 yea of course I noticed. Problem is I already drilled the other two holes on the right. If you watch the video I explain what happened. I had other screws but the plastic piece that hides them once they’re drilled in would close over the bigger head screws.
@joedaggett44453 ай бұрын
@@RickyCarilli well as soon as u noticed that u hit a stud i would have stopped and just used the screw into the wood its a stronger anyway plastic anchors are horrible

I don’t care who I have to be, look like, want to do or just try to fit in I want to be myself and set a model and show that being good comes with goods consequences! Great vid. No, wisdom is knowledge that has been tempered by time and experience to be used wisely. Just applying knowledge is simply using information. That in itself does not create wisdom.
