I freaking loved this movie - saw it three times, the third time in dolby, and dolby is the only way to go.

Dolby is the way to go! Love hearing that you’ve had repeat viewings in THE THEATER! That’s why the theatrical release + movie going experience is so important! Cheers!

True horror fans go for the kills not the acting.😂 It was fun and I laughed out loud at the over the top of it. I feel Eli Roth knows what us gore hounds want and it's a love letter to the slasher genre. A classic to watch every year for the holiday for me now.🦃🪓😁

It's not as good as some other classics like Halloween or Scream but I really enjoyed it. I'd be down for a sequel.

This movie was absolutely stunning with the visuals. I also loved the world building and the depiction of the war between humans and A.I and how the A.I were used in the movie. The movie did get undercut for me when it came to the emotional impact because while I was invested in the world, I could never get as invested in the story or the characters. Still a solid flick though.

Great quick review. Just saw it on iMax. It was pleasure. I can’t believe they shot on a Sony Fx3 for such a relatively low budget. Outstanding visuals. Great story. Hopefully more people see it.

if you put it in the context of history, to end the bloodiest world war in the history of mankind, the logic of the time made this a no brainer. It's unfortunate in the movie they didn't speak more clearly to the moral and ethical imperative we had to beat the Germans in the arms race, and also have a weapon that would bring the war with Japan to an end. It doesn't really bother me that Oppenheimer had communist friends, just as long as we were able to get to the finish line first. I despise Russian leadership and Communism, but they were going to steal the secrets from us one way or another. That unfortunately was the biggest problem I had with the movie, Nolan spent more time railing against McCarthyism, instead of focusing on the men and women who helped win the war. He made a beautiful movie about the heroism at Dunkirk, he could have done the same for this movie.

Ford V Ferrari, 3:10 to Yuma and Logan are good movies....just that....not reat not extraordinary mvies....he is competent to an extent and here is clearly surpassed by the story's inconsistencies. Your review seems clare biased and 3 or four notches above the actual grading for this flick...3 out of 10 - and I am being generous here

These two guys appear to belong to the "woke" flock. Their review contradicts that of dozens of other reviewers, all agreeing that this movie is yet another woke disaster, certain to lose countless millions of dollars. I know who I' going to believe.
@angusbartowski11 ай бұрын
Stop being a follower and go watch the movie and decide for yourself. And if you don't want to see it, why are you spending your valuable time watching reviews and commenting on something you have no interest in. It's far from woke. Just cuz it has a female costar, which most Indiana Jones movies do, does not mean it's woke. Stop being a hater, you will enjoy life a lot more, I promise.

Pretty interesting, I think you could benefit from some post production work, the first I would go after is audio levels. I'm sure its hard to get everyone on the same frequency when the equipment for recording is not uniform, but post processing could help you keep everyone at the same volume. Do you all think streaming has hurt movies or helped them? Ultimately streaming is a giant convenience that can target large markets in an instant, are you gambling with success by going the traditional theater release over the day 1 stream for guaranteed payouts? Do you think Marvel fans are starting to experience franchises fatigue? What do you all think about Cherry, Sicario, Perfect Blue, Jinroh The Wolf Brigade, Atlanta(FX) and The Fast and Furious Franchise?
@midwayavenueproductions4681 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment! Bare with us as we’re still figuring out key points in production! A lot of us use different mics unfortunately but hopefully our audio will sound more crisp in episodes ahead! As mentioned in the episode, all 4 of us are very pro-theatrical as we think the best way to experience any movie is in the theaters. While we may not be able to see everything in the theater we will always support theatrical because streaming will never be able to match the same experience of being in a theater and the excitement that brings. With that said, streaming has created a giant platform for more and diverse storytelling and sometimes is able to not feel “limitations” compared to theatrical releases. Most of us feel like Phase 4 of the MCU had its ups and downs but compared to the first 3 phases a bit “lackluster” but still with some shining moments, (ex. No Way Home, Wakanda Forever). Phase 5 shall be very interesting because there are a lot of projects that are going to be introduced that will paint the “larger picture” of what the Multiverse Saga really is. There is definitely superhero fatigue but the Box Office continues to prove that these are still the biggest grossing movies that are bringing audiences back to the theaters. Be sure to check out our next couple of episodes as we will definitely mention Atlanta (FX) and Fast and Furious! Thanks for watching and I hope you continue to enjoy our show!
