Lol that urban decay PR, love the creativity! I like the drops too but wish they didn’t have it with fragrance, just do a separate hair parfum.

LOVE me some Gro with Jo! Hair is beautiful as always. I experienced some breakage around the same time you did and ended up cutting about half the length of my hair off into a bob and I am lovingggg it (lowkey itching to see you with a bob but I won't project lol). Hope Paris was everything!

I’m so invested in seeing if you find anything similar to VERB’s Ghost Oil because I haven’t used ANYTHING close to that. The way that feels like nothing in your hair while performing, I was SHOOK. It’s insane lolzz. VERB did their BIG ONE! You could probably try the Moroccanoil Oil. Believe there is a light version as well. Don’t quote me tho. I used it yearsss ago but if my memory serves me correctly it wasn’t heavy

Hair looks great! I love how you wash your hair once a week. Do you find that weekly heat impacts your hair health? I want to move to weekly washing and retain length.

Your hair is super cute. It’s looking very healthy. Honestly, a 5-7 minute relaxer 2 to 4 times a year to maintain manageability is worth it, because you take care of your hair. In my humble and unsolicited opinion: maybe don’t fix what isn’t broken, especially if you’re enjoying yourself.

This is how I became natural, I was managing to textures Without difficulty and noticed I started to love the fullness of my straight natural hair, and eventually I became straight natural. It never truly felt like I was transitioning because it happened so seamlessly.
@EBONY_HD2 күн бұрын
I went through this same process. I’m deciding to be a straight natural. My last Tex lax was oct of 2023. The texture difference was a little hard to overcome in the beginning, but I think it’s better that you texlaxed instead of going from a truly processed relaxer to being natural. My hair is less dense and more fine than yours which I think will also make your transition easier if you decide to. I LOVE having the extra texture for body and density! I’ve been doing silk pressed on 355 one pass and then curling with the same flat iron on 390. It’s silky but not boneless and very manageable for 1-2 weeks. Your hair looks beautiful now so what you decide to do I’m sure it will continue to be beautiful! ❤

Herein lies a perfect xample of think before you speak... I wasn't intentionally being "rude." So, thank you. When you know better, you should articulate better. I coulda been more mindful & verbally gracious. Hair for ME is an accessory. It enhances &/or adorns. Sometimes, I miss the mark. Huh, people sure let you know THEIR preferences & opinions about it... AND, when you put yourself out there, criticism, judgment, and even abuse may follow. Right or wrong, people's POV should be expected & respected, however contrary, tho not necessarily embraced (favorable or not). 🥴 CURRENTLY, my hair would b deemed "nappy." Not long ago, i was LITERALLY bald... Today, im "very, very" comfortable & secure with or w/o hair. One's crowning "accessory" is actually a journey of acceptance/beauty. Thanks again for reminding me to "use my words" to kindly express support for another's be-YOU-ti-full journey (path).

I need a question answered… so are ppl just leaving their relaxer on their head to sit after it’s applied!? I haven’t relaxed my hair since 2009 but I heard ppl say they leave their relaxer on to process. My mom never did that and it was straight. All she did was apply it and wash it out… so this might be the reason why ppl had so much damage with relaxers… they’re leaving it on their hair too long. I didn’t know ppl were doing that! 😮😮😮

Directions on the box or relaxer container
@LoveisALWAYStheAnswer-i3w2 күн бұрын
The directions on the box state to leave the relaxer on to process and has a texture chart indicating the suggested times. There is the possibility that people leave the product in the hair too long. And, in my experience, it's critical to frequently condition and be gentle with any hair, especially hair that has been chemically altered.
@Academiacaramelcurlz2 күн бұрын
@ ooooh right. Okay. I don’t think my mom knew that… either she did and don’t follow that or she didn’t. But it worked for meee without letting it sit. So I guess it depends on texture and thickness. My hair is full but my strands are fine and soft… so maybe that’s why she didn’t do that. But I always wondered why ppl had these issues. I thought they were using either bad products or too strong of a product
@mslebeaux17 сағат бұрын
Right. My scalp was sensitive so by the time they got it all on I was ready to wash it out. I was in awe of folks that could let it sit.
