So far, I've been on two flights, and I've noticed how much easier it is to maneuver around the airport because the wheels on the luggage are significantly better. Glad you were able to change yours out. :)

I'm sorry that walking is so onerous for you & that many Americans might prefer to get their exercise in a gym, if at all, hermetically-sealed from possibly gun-carrying or otherwise risky people

Always remember to lock the lavvy door if about to sit on the seat 3:21 , as I discovered the very 1st time I had to use that type 😞 There should be an interlock such that you can't sit on the seat w/o a locked door. Ultra-embarrassing

@@LindaHasATravelBug The extreme embarrassment (for it was!) lasted maybe one second as I hadn't er reached a point of temporary immobility, thankfully, & made a point of avoiding looking at other person'/s reactions/eye-contact. One has to focus on total psychological damage-limitation. And I was at an age where extremely fast reflexes were still possible

"tern" is a seabird, & is pronounced like "turn". "Chil" is pronounced as per "chill". So, think "Chill" ..."tern" for pronunciation purposes

London is not a good example of public transport in the UK as it's overpriced, overcrowded and there is always the risk of a terrorist attack. I would suggest being less London focused and take a look at what the UK can offer. From the valleys of Wales, to the glens of Scotland and the banana plantations of the Ayrshire coast there is quite a lot of variety to be seen
@LindaHasATravelBugАй бұрын
You bring up some very good points and I hope to experience some of your suggestions after I've experienced many large cities throughout the world. :)

London is probably the best for public transport anything outside major cities transport is normally poor.

READ FOR THE ANSWER! I stopped having garage sales years ago. Those that came were so greedy. They didn't want to pay $1 for expensive shirts, offering 10¢. They even STOLE a lot of items which were priced unbelievably low. Here I am, willing to take a big hit on these items just to make a few bucks, and they STEAL from me! Garage sales are simply not worth the time and effort anymore. And, yes... I'm going to say it... They were all 'foreigners.' And now, with Biden giving invading illegal aliens $2200./EACH, cellphones, free room and board, food, clothing, shoes, medical/dental, etc., ALL PAID FOR BY TAXPAYERS, why do they need anything USED??? AND with so many criminals STEALING EVERYTHING they want or need, from TVs to computers, toiletries to toilets, socks to silks, hardware to jewelry, from EVERY STORE IMAGINABLE, knowing they will NOT BE ARRESTED, WHY WOULD THEY WANT ANYTHING USED??? Give it to a church or charity or Goodwill. Even that will cost in time, energy, and gas money! It also made me rethink purchases I make now. Do I want to spend a lot of money on something I won't get any return on or will be stolen from me, even in a garage sale??? NOPE! 🤔
