For those who are curious. The Q7 Max does indeed go in a criss cross pattern. However, it's not from a cleaning cycle, like he mentions, but rather, if you tell it to clean a specific room you can tell it to clean that room up to 3 cycles. If you tell it to clean your whole place (cleaning cycle), it will only go through one cycle in the normal "rows" pattern. Setting up a cleaning schedule to clean up your entire place or to clean specific rooms, will only go through one cycle. I could be wrong, so if someone finds out how you can make it go through multiple cycles all the time, please correct me. This is just what I'm finding out through my own experience from having it for a few days. So far, so good! I like Q7 Max a lot because it really shows results, my place has stayed pretty consistently cleaned! There are some places where it hasn't gone to clean (eg. under my desk with my office chair) but those places are tricky so that's reasonable and I don't blame it.

So glad I went with this model. I’ve had multiple Dysons in the past (V7, V8 and V10) and have always had issues regarding filters. When they start that on/off crap due to filter build-up, I lose it. Sometimes with Dyson (particularly the V7 and V8) you eventually have to clean them internally I.e. full strip down and clean as they have accumulated residue inside the cyclone assembly. If this happens then they become more sensitive to filter build up. To be fair, I have had my V10 for a couple of years now and it has been better than the older models. Regardless, I’ve sold up and eagerly await my new Bespoke Pro Plus Extra…

why are made in USA products not recommended? i am looking to purchase an ALORAIR 70 PPD. amazon sells them for about $450. looks solid and quality built unlike all the chinese globalist companies you've mentioned that dont care about their products nor their customers based on their really lousy warranties.

Purchasing a robot vacuum is daunting in 2024. I've spent a week researching and the decision of which one to purchase is just as difficult as choosing a new mattress these days. When I have found a brand to get excited about, the negative reviews regarding malfunction and durability have scared me off. That said, in my quest to find the perfect robot vac that suits my needs, I have yet to find anyone online who has done reliability research on any of these. I want to know which brands hold up the best and who has the best customer service. Durability and service are super important when making a big investment on a Robot vacuum. It matters not how well it functions, the bells and whistles and whatnot, if it malfunctions and one has to jump through hoops to have it repaired. I can't imagine spending $1500+ dollars on a robot vacuum that breaks down in 3 weeks or 6 months , etc, and having to deal with it. I will say, I've owned the Roomba i7 since 2019 that has many miles on it and I've never had one serious issue with it. It has served me well during that time but it's telling me that it's days are numbered .

I’d like to see a ranking without the value component. I just want to know what’s the best functioning unit. Low airflow units are high on this list.

1st FFAD5033W1 displayed the EC error after only 11 months (some summer runtime and no winter use). Frigidaire replaced it (less S&H) and now the 2nd FFAD5033W1 is throwing the EC code after only several months of summer use and being dormant through this past winter. Nice list of pros vs cons in your video but these units are junk and a waste of money. Electrolux/Frigidaire either sell a reputable product or take yourself out of the game. Thieves!

Do you happen to have the raw numbers for Lowest Speed CFM and Lowest Speed Wattage, I noticed you have a screenshot that only shows the ratio for the lowest speed setting while you show both the ratios and raw numbers for the highest speed setting. With my data based on your data and current pricing I am seeing the Coway Mighty as the best performance for value and the Coway Airmega as one of the best large room purifiers based on both CFM/watt and loudness at both high/low settings. Winnix is in 2nd place for value but its CFM/watt at lowest setting is half of the other great options such as both Coways/Medify MA-25/Levoit Core 400S

Thanks for your detailed review! I decided to buy the V12 - have to say coming from a Miele C3 with a bag, is kind of a leap, at first the v12 feels like a toy, however, slowly i am realising how good it cleans and now appreciate how lightweight it is and more importantly, not bumping into furniture around the apartment when vacuuming! Moreover, lets not forget with Miele I had to buy and replace the filters, the motor filter and bags every so often...which adds up. Miele always ended up smelling dusty which i hated, so far very pleased with the V12 . Regards from Spain

This review collects good info but its rankings will not reflect the priorities of many buyers. For instance, I have been very happy with Rabbit Air Minus A2 (I have to manage feather down). He agrees the Rabbit unit works well and looks good, but gives it bottom rating based entirely on price. He then gives high rating to similarly expensive units, and his favorite unit is cheap but so unattractive and bulky I would never put it in my home. So, use his raw data, but not necessarily his conclusions.

Medify MA-112 over the IQair? Interesting considering the frequency of filter changes for the former. Add in the fact that Medify's filters aren't always available, which is a huge barrier if the cost isn't enough to put you off. Medify's filters have 0% longevity. I believe this list should be reassessed, especially after Levoit was forced to remove the HEPA certification from their product range. No mention of Airpura either....
