Sure. Here in NYC (only) we have to schedule ourselves I order to do either UberEats and DoorDash. (Uber Eats Only) - Depending upon your stats is when they open up the schedule for you and let you know how many hours you get to schedule for the week. Stats include: the amount of orders you complete in a month, cancellation rate and acceptance rate. I only get five hours per week. However, you could still get online if Uber deems the area as busy but that can be hit or miss. I live in a busy area and I can never get online outside of my scheduled shift. They also added zones so now you have to schedule yourself within a certain zone and time. You have to start your shift within your selected zone but you can get ordered outside of your zone.

Yes, that is correct, I only get five hours per week for month. Before the start of the next month they send you an email an app notification letting you know how many hours you will get to schedule for each week. DoorDash doesn’t like me, I’ve only worked one DoorDash shift since the start of the minimum wage law here in NYC. Prior to the start of next week you will either get notified on Thursday Afternoon 12PM or 3PM or Friday Afternoon 12PM or 3PM to schedule your shifts for the following week. You can cancel a shift no later than two hours before it’s supposed to start. (If your shift starts at 3PM you can’t cancel once it’s 1PM). If a time slot is full it will say full.

@@PoeMisHere The bike I use is a Juiced Scorpion. The company just recently went out of business and was sold at auction to an unknown buyer. I would say save your money for a better bike like the Super73 or Ariel Rider.

NYC is a lot cleaner today than what it was in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. As far as it not being a nice place, I would disagree. We are nice people we just don’t like having people who don’t know how to walk be in the way. We have places to be, and people are just standing in the middle of the sidewalk talking a picture of a building like they never seen a building before.

I can believe it. The very first time I went out there I made bank but ever since then the orders and money have been getting less and less

The NYC market is not as fun as it used to be. I liked being on hunt for the good paying orders. There was more of a chance landing a high tipping customer, but now with the minimum pay wage, you have to take every order no matter what.

Ooo yes, I use two thermal bags. One is the DoorDash bag and the other one is attached to the bike. In winter I put the DoorDash bag In the bigger bag and the food is extra hot.

No, I brought it with the stimulus checks we got back in 2020/2021.

My original e-bike got stolen on the Lower East Side. I was going to buy the Sondors MadMods bike but they kept pushing the release date back. I was tired of renting from Zoom because they never had open appointments for bike maintenance. Also their tire lock locked everyones bike one night because of a glitch and the only way to resolve it was to have them cut the lock but they were not offering anyone any money for the taxi ride to their location or anything.

Going into Manhattan, doing deliveries, then heading back to Brooklyn I’ve done well over 25 miles.

I didn’t have have my horn installed yet since I switched front forks. I stop at every light but if there are no pedestrians or cars I continue while being cautious because anything can happen at the last second.
