The progress of this Island is unheard of in the Western economy. I landed there first time in early 2003. Only 1 ATM in the center of town BDO Banc. They are everywhere. Schools, universities, and just all Shopping malls. Mcdonalds etc. It's Unheard of in other countries with the same state. Its a place I want to live in! Because it is progress the whole time! Of course, some of business will go out. But I really believe in Catanduanes. They have not figured out all tourist business. Because the future is ECO Tourism. That everybody takes care of there own (Bazura!!) And have some pera left for the people´ Not like a tax, but many small tip to the people who works there???

I miss Virac so much!!. They are very good and nice people. If you are a foreigner they give a hand. Never forget I looking for sticky rice to do snacks over Christmas. 2 Older ladies helped me to find this (malangkit rice) They wrap up banana leaves and so on.!! Really nice experience talaga!!

The main attractions of Bohol can be seen on this place..All the things on this place becomes pricey..Especially the foods in the restaurants.There's a lot of foreigners have owned a Spa, Restaurants and Grocery stores.They love to have a business on this place.

Back in the 80s Wawa in Nasugbu was so dangerous to even walk around the area . Napaka delikado nuon my father was the Mayor of Nasugbu back in 1980-84 .We had a speed boat naka parada sa Wawa duon kasi lahat ng speed boat naka dock .
