This was once a nice airport. It's only about 25 years old. For the first decade it was well organized, but in recent years it has become like everything else in Athens. My advice: travel to Turkey instead.

Oh, wow. I knew Disney made cartoons for the US. I didn't know they made them for Canada too. Cool cartoon. Thank you for sharing.

I've not seen this cartoon before. It's amazing how far animation came in the few years between this cartoon's release & DIsney's Snow White. Thank you for sharing it.

Earlier Bugs Bunny cartoons had the cuter Elmer. For s short time they changed his look to be more like a caricature his voice, Arthur Q Bryan. Apparently they thought he’d be funnier that way.

Ummm... What??? This is propaganda how??? Labeling this as propaganda is a sorry way to get "clicks" and the only propaganda I see here.. Get a life.
@tradewindstravelllc68012 күн бұрын
I'm not trying to get "clicks." At :42 there is a sign about buying war bonds. Also, Elmer's Oh Susanna has a verse about getting gold to help the war effort.
@robertbraun71552 күн бұрын
@tradewindstravelllc6801 Ok so you are using propaganda in a literal sense as defined.. I guess wiley coyote is promoting buying explosives and the roadrunner is promoting to pay no attention to the speed limits.. You know full well when you use the word propaganda it's almost always used in cases of governments or extremely biased movements to influence others.. You got me. I stepped right into the trap.. Kudos.. Theres also another word called "support" that is not always nefarious. Have to take into account global events happening at that time.. Again, technically, you are correct..
@williamriley-le9zo2 күн бұрын
@@tradewindstravelllc6801 Still, hardly " propaganda ". Check your Thesaurus for something more appropriate. Do you know what that is?

What a find! Up to now I'd only been aware of Seaman Hook as produced by Leon Schlesinger's studio and Warners. Knew something was up the moment Darrell Calker's swingin' music began. Was Shamus Culhane involved with this?

my favorite part about this one is that it didnt actually teach anyone anything about discipline nor does it help the soldier to understand why his menial jobs are so important to the giant machine that is the us military industrial complex. the entire cartoon could be replaced with a giant billet board that reads "WORK HARDER" and it would perform it's task exactly the same. the us in a nutshell: spend a ridiculous amount of money on something novel that can be replaced with something vastly cheaper and easier to implement.

Each set is tuned to a certain chord. They raise it to ring when that chord is in the music. There is a something inside each tube that causes the bell to sound.
