@@bitterlake it’s all about modulation of your drum voices, having drum voices you can modulate pitch, velocity, decay and modulating them with synchronized cv to your gate sequence.

This was amazing! I was totally expecting the typical hard 4/4 boom boom boom with crazy synths. Instead I was treated with a chill, almost glitchy ambient kind of techno.

thanks for listening! ive been really obsessed over the years with implied rhythms/drum patterns and beats that your mind wants to emerge from whatever you are listening to but never do. flying lotus is really good at this. i feel like im getting closer to these ideas in this context, still not there though

Thanks so much for listening. I don’t have an active modular grid at all, but I haven’t appreciably changed my euro setup from this, I do have a bigger intellijel case that contains these modules and a few others from whimsical raps (just friends and a pair of sisters).

Good morning, i love your work....i am currently having an issue with y disting ex and tune...i was wondering how you have your output setting set for this track...would it be the first option all summed to 1 and 2? i am sequencing rene2 with the sample piano sound on disting and if i play just the x channel it sounds find or the y channel it sounds fine but when i i play both at the same time i am having an issue with the tuning...i had all set perfectly and then something happened with that module (the disting ex) so i got a new one and have been fighting to get back to where i was. Any way thanks so much for your music and your time.

Yeah jf is in synth mode, all six voices going to a nearness for stereo, then into sealegs. I’m using the grid and an earthsea like script on teletype to play the chord by hand, and it’s an A# minor chord I believe.

@@user.data1984 oh ok great thanks for letting me know. Been trying to make a decision whether to get an fx send module because i always track di interface or get a small mixer. Trying to keep real-estate to a minimum but seems like the 4mls listen or strymon aa.1 might be a cheaper option than getting a mixer. Maybe not though. Thanks a bunch
