I am Swede and i am proud over both Volvo and Scania trucks. To see the Swedish flag on a truck in Australia is not only good, but also a proof that Volvo does make great trucks for every country and market, the trucking in Australia is no joke and it takes a damn good truck to get the jobs done.

Pretty piss poor report on this Truck ,it’s all about the bed ,for Gods sake you just go buy a good mattress..You don’t say fuel figures or any important things ,,you just plug Volvo Plenty Kenworths doing same job or better. Volvo was and is designed in Europe 🇦🇺🦘

Nice trucks but the sell on the sleeper space is a joke vs the equiv K200, I drive a half-sleeper FM and if it weren't for the TV and lack of rear window (I love my rear window) you'd be struggling to pick the two apart...

You must be a slow driver. Cruising with Mick and Sally drove his Kenny from Adelaide via nsw and qld to Darwin and back down the centre to Adelaide in 7.5 days.

Good video. It's a pity you still have to go out to Morven to hook up the full rig. Surely now the Toowoomba bypass is open, you should be able to hook it up at least there. Look at Townsville... triples and quads right to the port... Wake up Qld Transport.

Why do you not have the FH16 750 in Down Under ???
@henryblanton69922 жыл бұрын
Volvo had the 16.1 here in the US. The only people who had problems with the 16.1, especially when hooked up to the I-Shift, thought that the I-Shift’s skipping gears was illegal, and would “finger f**k” the their tractors in the insane belief they knew better. The max horsepower available was 625/2323 ftlbs ~ 3150Nm here stateside. Our “ultra low sulfur diesel” has 15 PPM sulfur content, Europe’s diesel has 10 PPM. That has to be better for the engine(s) emissions systems.

What malarky! Just one continuous advert; tell us about the engine/transmission, ever hit a 'Roo? how do you get into a gas pump? 53 meters long? Do you assist utes when they need to overtake?
@petepeterson72303 жыл бұрын
Are you kidding me a Volvo cab-over is not anything I would want to be spending days in. There was no room in that thing, ecspecially for a team operation. I have hauled multiple combinations and a cabover is not ideal. If you are running those lengths and combinations then surely a convential tractor would be more appropriate to live and work in. There are better tractors out there then Volvo.

Very interesting. I want to visit Australia and see those trains. Do all of the trailers have brakes? Or, just some of them

Wondering what you good folks are going to do when the Aussie government's alleged brainiacs ban diesel and gas. I can just see an EV charging station in the middle of no where .....sure, sure. Good luck my friends. Just like Australia, we have idiots running the U.S. too.

Honestly, still to squeezy. I never liked European semis. Why ??? I used to drive them in Europa. We had double bunks, we drove 2 up, single axel, bumpy ride. Bunks were narrow, with safety net, I started to drive Kenworth's and Mack's, ohh what a feeling......double axel, wide bunks.....Volvo and Scania Cabin on shock absorbers, my Gawd, I become sea sick. I had my Bitch I feel better now, :)
