For Natsu, you might want to consider getting 80 candies before you feed him up anymore candy because for each sleep session you also get that much XP to each Pokémon in your lineup (depending on if the Nature has EXP up or down and also any Sleep EXP subskills running on the team). Once you reach 80 candies to evolve then worry about feeding him the ones you might have beyond 80. I personally don't like having the Pokémon at the level for evolution but not having enough candies to do it lol

I totally agree with you! I know they did the event at Greengrass Isle for newer players, but I wonder if the event would've been better if it were at Tapu Hollow. Because last week, for me, the first 3 days I was getting fire type spawns. I was getting a minimum of 3 then I started to notice a decline and was lucky to see 1 fire type spawn. 😅

We are in the same boat right now with trying to level up further this week. Felt like Raikou event was a bit easier for me in that department 😅😅 but nonetheless the grind continues! lol

I think berry focus is a good strategy, especially for newer and/or free-to-play players. I will start by saying I usually spend enough to buy all the bundles for each event and have been playing since the game was released here around July 21. My play style leans a lot more towards the cooking side and maximizing dishes. I got Curries/Stews this week and since I have Inferno Corn Keem Curry at level 55. So on Greengrass I get over 60k per cook and over 120k if it is extra tasty. Tuesday Afternoon and I have reached Master 12. My main team is currently: Wigglytuff (55) Main Skill chance up, Skill Trigger S, Skill Trigger M, Energy for Everyone is maxed at Level 6 Typhlosion (52) Berry Finding S, Helping Speed M Bewear (44) Ingredient Finding up and mono Greengrass Corn Dragonair (30) Ingredient Finding up and mono Fiery Herbs Charizard (35) Berry Finding S and Sausages in the first two slots As I get close to the max ingredient bag space of 600 I swap in: Flareon (27) Main Skill Chance up, Helping Bonus, Berry Finding S.

The game is a long process. Somethings they did last year and probably will do again this year: The week of November 21, the game held a week-long Eevee event, because in Japan 11/21 is considered Eevee day. I am hoping it will be every year. Also, Halloween had the introduction of Shuppet/Bannette and a Witch Hat Pikachu. Christmas had an event as well with the Festival Hat Pikachu.

I got to make a new dessert dish, I unlocked Snowdrop Tundra & somehow finally made a B grade at the end of the week despite being dead ass tired 😅

Although it is much harder to level up Snorlax on Taupe Hollow than it is to do so on Greengrass Isle, at least the spawn pool is smaller on Taupe Hollow. I am not sure if it balanced out for you, but it is something to encourage you during these struggles. And the Entei even has it only spawning on Greengrass starting on May 20th. This next week is a non-event week so I think I will hit Lapis Lakeside as I still am searching for a good Dratini.

Sadly, I don't think I'm hitting Master 1. This is my 2nd time at Taupe but I also just started a 2nd job so I'm not getting great sleep. Ultra 1 is my goal for now. I did manage at least 1 Vulpix so far.

The picture that you choose at the end of a sleep research determines which candy your friends will get. I'm sure nobody wants the gulpin candy that you chose

That Togekiss looks great! On the Shuppet you are correct, the nature hurts, since it is ingredient finding up, which hinders its berry gathering and it is a berry specialist. On Berry pokemon Ideally you would want a nature with Speed up or Ingredient Finding down. Adamant is the best as it is both Speed Up and Ingredients down, Modest is the worst for berry pokemon as it is Ingredients up and Speed down. On Ingredient pokemon it's best with Ingredient Finding up but not Modest here too, so any of the other 3 work best and a speed up nature except Adamant can be good. Skill Specialists. The best is Main Skill up, probably not Speed down here too so Calm is not so good. But if you have an early Skill Trigger sub skill then a Nature with Speed up except Naughty works well too.

I don't know if I've made a mistake. Everyone is at Taupe Hallow. I stayed on GG because I was feeling event fatigue. I didn't want to be struggling on Taupe & Vulpix isn't there til next week.

Both Bulba's aren't the greatest, but the newest Bulba wins out of those 2 :)

That bulbasaur is actually nice speed down unfortunately but the double honey is actually nice. And that ingredient finding S could be upgraded. I been hunting double or triple honey but no luck so far. Nice shiny tho could be your tomato farmer if you got a double potato geodude or mime jr.

If Darumaka came to the game I would not be mad. BUT my guess is that it will be Vulpix or Magby that's introduced to the game. Also, if ur mindset is that you would've saved ur firestone for Eevee instead of Growlithe then definitely use it on an Eevee that's worth evolving & not just for the Entei week. Hopefully you do get a firestone before the event. If not I know with the even it will be available just like the thunderstone was with Raikou. Have you tried the raenonx calculator yet? It's very useful figuring out what pokemon are worth the investment.

You need a berry finding chicorita!! Togepi is generally considered not good but for sentimental reasons I rock with it. Raenonx calculator is a great resource

When a Pokémon is hungry but not shiny there is a 90% chance the biscuit gives it a big hit (which is 3x the pips the biscuit normally gets) and there is a 10% chance for a critical capture letting you befriend it no matter how many pips it normally takes. Shiny are always 100% critical catch so you can just use a regular biscuit on them. And I think if the Pokémon is not hungry there is like a 10% chance of a big hit and a 2% chance of a critical capture. As a side note, some of the less powerful Pokemon are Bonsly/Sudowoodo, Wynaut/Wobuffet, and all those with Dream Shard Magnet Main Skill (Gulpin/Swalot, Meowth/Persian and sadly Riolu/Lucario)...so unless you really love any of them, you might want to save your biscuits for others.

Added 🙂 The hearts animation you had for Growlithe is what we in the biz like to call a mega hit which fills up the heart meter no matter how many heart bars are left (approximate 2% chance when not hungry, 10% chance when hungry). Same animation as feeding a shiny (guaranteed catch). The other animation that you would normally see on a hungry pokemon (and sometimes feeding a non hungry pokemon) is a big hit which is triple hearts (approximate 8% chance to occur on a non hungry). More than happy to provide advice each video if you want, or if you prefer to learn yourself as you go that's cool too 🙂 Oh Vulpix or Turtonator are my guesses/wishes for Fire Type Week 😅

Congrats on the shiny Togepi, JJ!! It's really good! I think definitely worth raising. The combination of skill trigger and a LOT of helping speed will make your Togepi really strong! I personally don't mind exp down on my Pokemon, especially when I know I want to keep them on my teams a lot :)

chikorita is actually a great catch, especially for lapis. also it farms the ingredients that are essential for desserts week, like cacao and honey. it can also farm leeks too which is crazy. try to get one if u can jj!

First Eevee could maybe be a good Vaporeon as an ingredient specialist since it did have skill trigger s. But other than that you really need skill trigger & skill level up in the subskills together unless it has a nature that boosts the main skill chance.

Event starts tomorrow!! As a newer player I'm definitely going to Greengrass! It's a bit easier to progress there & there will be a bigger variety of Pokemon from the event available there.

It's challenging to finish a session without taking at least one home. I spend cash on the game and even with the hefty biscuit supply there are times where I don't see any worth taking home. This morning I only had one hungry and it was T'tar. I only used a biscuit just in case I hit the 10% chance of a critical capture on a hungry to it home today. Here on Taupe Hollow, the ones I will spend more than one biscuit to try to befriend are Gastly, Shuppet, Bannette, Cyndaquil, Eevee, Larvitar, Onix and Steelix. There are some other good ones, but I already have acceptable ones of those.

Overall, it is hard to do up several of them as the candy is shared. Most of the Eeveelutions are usually the 2nd best in each of their respective skill specialty. For example Sylveon is a better healer than Wigglytuff, but not as good as Gardevoir. Glaceon and Flareon both give temporary buffs to cooking pot size, which helps free to play players reach the high level dishes, but probably not as good as Magnezone. Espeon has Charge Strength, but also provides a favorite berry for Lapis Lakeside, so some players use one with Berry Finding S. The exception is Vaporeon, which its Ingredient Magnet skill can keep you stocked up on ingredients. Once you have unlocked Slowpoke Tails, the Vaporeon can provide just about as many randomly as a Slowbro does when it farms. But that will require you use enough Main Skill Seeds (on top of any Skill Level M/S) to max it out. And Leafeon is probably the worst one overall as the skill is not that good..

ur wartortle is definitely better, and i think neutral natures are positive in general just bcs it guarantees that u won’t reduce any stats. funny thing is is that photography is also my hobby HAHA.
