What kind of a bastard are you? Purchasing wild caught, animals. Supporting poaching is inexcusable I hope you get a cricket ball to the bollocks, every day. Sicko.

Beautiful snake. As someone who lives in Florida and can’t own reticulated pythons, I’m extremely interested in these guys. When I first saw one, I thought it was a retic morph. Really hoping more people start breeding these.

no way you think papuans get no longer than 4 feet. my 9 month papuan is 4 feet😂 papuans get 6-8 feet for sure. unless you barely feed them they will grow.

I've got a M.S Imbricata, here in the southern area of Perth, Australia... such a placid well behaved snake... even as a Hatchling they are easy to socialise with humans... a very secretive hidden species and not much data on them, which is why I document every little detail as I can, even if it seems irrelevant.. Enjoyed your Vid... cheers for sharing 👍

Do you still have this animal, Eric? I love and keep carpet pythons and have become fascinated by timor pythons - but I don't know how they compare with carpets as far as temperament, visibility, level of activity, etc. I assume they're more retic-like but I've never kept a retic. What was your experience?

I’m so interested in carpet pythons but I have never owned a snake. I plan on getting my first this year and am doing plenty of research daily. Do you think the jungle carpets would be okay as a first snake if I was dedicated to them? A few people have told me”just get a ball python” and I absolutely don’t want one. I don’t want what everybody else wants. The carpets are by far my favorites

Coastal Pythons are the best!. Mine's soo placid & easy to handle. I often feel that initially I was given the wrong info. At first, I believed the crowd & opted for a children's python as my first snake & it was soo aggressive! & when I researched coastals the common perception was they are more snappy. Yet, he's soo tame. Just goes to show that you just have to go with your gut.

I’ve been working hard to get pairs of pimbura, molurus and progschai to try to create a steady source of those pure species/localities in the US. What I’ve found thus far is that the molurus/pimbura breeders gatekeep hard. Even mentioning the possibility of available offspring (after all the clutches they’ve been holding grow up) years in advance will get you ignored. At least for the last several years it’s felt like a completely unattainable goal for me, but I have the rest of my life to try.

Australia checking in. Great to see someone, giving these guys some attention overseas. They are a very rewarding species and a great pet for the beginner. I must disagree and say, M.s mcdowelli get huge, I have had several from 16 up to 18 foot long and seen several the same or larger basking with wallaby inside them in the wild. Great channel.
