Nothing to do with global warming natural disasters or anything lt has all to do with Governments cutting money from councils for decades. Drains are blocked and rivers no longer dredged, put these back into regular maintenance and the flooding will cease. Also stop cutting down trees which do the job of drinking excess rain water. It needs to become law that gardens are no longer concreted leaving the earth to do its job of soaking up excess water also. It’s not scientific it’s common sense go back in time when these things were all in place…..we didn’t have floods in most areas.
