DJ Khaled on rhythm guitar is just on another level... And I don't even need to speak on Lil Wayne's skill as the lead guitarist - just listen to that beautiful solo

Nice! At one moment you've said that you wish you had a HSH configuration. I watched another video that this guy put a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 on the neck. It has a single coil size but it does the job of a SC and a Humbucker. Cheers !

The static is because that stupid black hardware is preventing the ground wire from properly grounding. So stupid.

No offence but why dont you adjust the trussrod instead of talking for minutes about how the action is high. Apart from that thanks for the video ;)

I don't recall what I said in this video word for word as it's a year old, but I assume I covered it since this is an unboxing video so the most important thing to share is how the guitar comes "out the box".

Great video! I wanted to yellow through the screen to tell you where the missing locking nut was! I'm playing with installing a kill switch on a junker guitar (my first time soldering) and your slow approach is much appreciated!!

Hi! Since you're the only one on KZbin that I can find that has modded an SC200 I'll try asking here. Do you think there are any meaningful benefits with stepping up to e.g. an SC400 or above if I plan to modify? The only thing I might do is change the bridge humbucker, maybe the bridge. But maybe it's worth it to buy one of the SC models with Roswell humbuckers? But then, if I'm not happy with those I could've just spent the extra money on a different humbucker instead. What do you think?

So, I purchased a Fire Fly FFLPS Elite in emerald with a quilted top three years ago. It had major issues. The post holes for the bridge and tail piece were drilled over sized. Causing both to be loose. The saddles for the bridge were cut wrong and way too deep. The nut was nut wrong and the string spacing for the D&G string were not spaced evenly. The D&G string were too close to each other. The tuners would slip and the neck had a back bow. The guitar guitar would not hold tune. The back bow was so bad that I had to crank the truss rod in the counter clockwise direction way past the zero slack point to bring the neck straight. So thankful it had a double action truss rod in it. There were dead spots along the fretboard as well. The woods were not as advertised. The neck and body is all maple. The guitar is heavy. I was able to fix all the issues but I would not purchase one ever again. I replaced the nut, tuners, bridge and tail piece and all the electronics. I doweled the post holes and drilled to the proper size. I did a level and crown on the frets too. The guitar is ok for what it is. After a proper set up, it stays in tune now and plays and sounds great after all the repairs. The guitar looks beautiful with the emerald quilted top too. I didn't even talk about the finish issues which I was able to fix as well. I recommend not purchasing if you do not know how to fix the issues yourself. It would not be worth paying someone to fix a guitar that cost you anywhere from $189 to $240. You are better off purchasing an Epiphone Les Paul, Michael Kelly Patriot, Vintage V100 or any ESP/LTD Eclipse models. Hell, I purchased a Les Paul husk from Guitar Fetish for $150 and it is one hell of a guitar. I got all the hardware from their site as well to build it. The only major thing I had to do to the neck was set the string height at the first fret and polish the frets. I put Dimarzio's in that bad boy!

Speaking of screws, I believe the real 50s Telecastors used flat head screws on pick guard. Nice guitar though! I have a 338 and a Les Paul Firefly for 3 years now and still holding up well. Thanks

I have a first run 2024. It's a great guitar for the money, especially since it's a true 27" baritone. Pros and cons below. True baritone Double kill switches Body is made well Tone is good out of the box Cons Tuners are terrible Pickups are very hot Action is high I redid mine to 14 gauge strings tuned to B standard. Installed Seymour Distortions, put on Gotohs. Also installed puch pull put coil splitter to mimic Bucket. The guitar is a beast for the money spent, including the extras
