Greet seller, quick look, when the seller is talking about his car, SHUT UP AND LISTEN! Then look at paperwork, before spending time going under the car.

I'm lusting for an old Saab 900 last couple years but man there are non to be found. It sucks. I remember seeing them all the time in the 80s and 90s when I was a kid but now they're straight up unicorns. 😔

I think you'll get one. Keep looking. Some classic cat shops and dealers have these things sitting in sheds with no love for them. Bingo that's where you come in. You need to dig. Cold call etc.

I was there with my car. I needed windscreen sealant as I was swapping my screen out, nobody had any even though screen rubbers were sold. I needed fuses, no luck their either. I was not best pleased.

Get real mate, no one is going to allow you to spend that much of their time checking every nut and bolt and then potentially walk away.

Maybe it's different in the assic community? Plus if you want a car gone fast, that's a bit of a red flag. As he said, if you are going to live with it for 10, 15, 20 years, surely you want to know how it'll treat you? Although I do agree in that spending what seems like an entire day to potentially say "it's not for me" does sound like a lot to ask. But I imagine the modern car selling world is so fast paced and disposable because modern cars, other than their milage, are all shit, so maybe its just different for classics 🤷🏻♂️

When you purchase a vehichle which has historic vehicle on V5C.. does it automatically tramsfer to new owner. Or do you have to go through the process again when you change ownership..

So glad someone called the Allegro BEAUTIFUL! I sold mine 21 years ago, when it was itself 21 years old, to buy a bigger car. BUT I really like the distinctive recognisable shape! Just right for a personal transport vehicle, and not trying to be a FERRARI, for Clarkson-Type idiots, who look down on ordinary cars, which are "beneath" them! I LOVE the Allegro's rounded cute and cuddly look! Still one of my favourite cars!

Attended for two days and it was a great show. Curious to ask how come this video just came out today April 6th 2022 to promote a show that already happened in March?

I was there for two days and did indeed see Ant as well as Mike Brewer, Fuzz and the crew via various stage presentations. Dual citizen Brit Canadian here. I divide my time between Blighty and Vancouver BC....about 15 hours drive up the I-5 freeway from where Ant lives in California. Surprised to see this video as well as others on the Restoration Show are just coming out now in April for a show that already took place in March. What's going on?

Great, funny and well-edited video. When I first started watching, I thought, "Oh, this guy must be a popular fun car guy with a satirical tone, much like Doug DeMuro." Then I saw the 440 subs and realized you must be up and coming. You earned my subscription, pal! Clicked the video because I want to invest in a late 60s Roadrunner in a few years.
