Hello! I can use "Fixed width table cells" or untick this option but what if I need to change width of table shells, then how? Thanks! ML
@wpcupidblog
@wpcupidblog Күн бұрын
Greetings! Here are the steps. Add a Table Block: Open the post or page editor. Add a table block by clicking the "+" icon and searching for "Table." Change Column Widths: By default, the table block does not allow specific column width settings. To customize, you’ll need to add custom CSS. Select the table block and in the right-hand panel, add a custom class name under Advanced → Additional CSS Class (e.g., custom-table). Add Custom CSS: Go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS. Add CSS rules to specify column widths: .custom-table td:nth-child(1) { width: 150px; /* Adjust for the first column */ } .custom-table td:nth-child(2) { width: 200px; /* Adjust for the second column */ } Replace nth-child(n) and width values as needed.

Greetings! To change the PHP version in Hostinger's hPanel and ensure the correct version is reflected in your SSH environment, follow these steps: Step 1: Update the PHP Version in hPanel. Log in to your Hostinger hPanel. Navigate to Hosting → Manage for the specific website. Under the Advanced section, click on PHP Configuration. In the PHP version dropdown, select the desired version (e.g., PHP 8.2). Click Save to apply the changes. Step 2: Verify the PHP Version in SSH. Sometimes, the PHP CLI (Command Line Interface) version used in SSH doesn’t automatically sync with the web version. To update this: Log in to SSH using the credentials provided by Hostinger: copy code: ssh your-username@your-server-ip Check the current PHP version: copy code: php -v If it still shows the old version, proceed to update it. Change the default PHP CLI version: Hostinger allows you to use update-alternatives to set the desired PHP version for SSH: sudo update-alternatives --set php /usr/bin/php8.2 Replace php8.2 with the correct binary path for the PHP version you selected. Confirm the new version: Copy code php -v It should now display the updated version. Step 3: Test the Changes Run a PHP script or command to verify the correct version is being used in both your web server and SSH environment. Troubleshooting If you don’t have sudo access, contact Hostinger support to adjust the CLI PHP version for your account. Use which php to locate the current PHP binary and ensure it points to the desired version. This ensures your PHP version is consistent across the web server and SSH.

what if after clicking on delete button mesage pop up - Permission problem: Read more ..where and how to set up this permission ?? where to find mentioned folders ?
@wpcupidblog
@wpcupidblog 3 күн бұрын
Greetings! The "Permission problem: Read more..." message in WP Fastest Cache indicates that the plugin cannot access or modify necessary files or directories due to incorrect file or folder permissions on your server. Here's how to resolve it: 1. Identify Required Folders. WP Fastest Cache typically needs access to the following folders: /wp-content/cache/ /wp-content/wpfc-minified/ (if minification is enabled). You might also need to ensure the /wp-content/ folder itself has appropriate permissions. 2. Set Correct Permissions. You need to set proper permissions for the above folders to allow the plugin to function. Here’s how to do it: Using cPanel or File Manager. Log in to your hosting cPanel or access the File Manager. Navigate to your site's wp-content directory. Locate the cache and wpfc-minified folders. Right-click on each folder and select Permissions or Change Permissions. Set the permissions to: 755 for directories (read and execute for everyone; write for the owner). Save the changes. Using FTP Connect to your site using an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla). Navigate to the wp-content directory. Locate the cache and wpfc-minified folders. Right-click the folder and select File Permissions. Set the permissions to 755 for directories. Using Command Line (For Advanced Users). If you have SSH access, use the following commands: cd /path/to/your/wp-content/ chmod -R 755 cache chmod -R 755 wpfc-minified 3. Verify Ownership If the issue persists, the ownership of the files may also need adjustment: Ownership should typically be set to the web server user (e.g., www-data or apache). Use this command to change ownership if you have SSH access: chown -R www-data:www-data /path/to/your/wp-content/cache chown -R www-data:www-data /path/to/your/wp-content/wpfc-minified 4. Test the Plugin After updating the permissions, return to the WP Fastest Cache plugin in WordPress and try clearing the cache again. If the problem still occurs, your hosting provider may have additional restrictions in place. Contact them for assistance.

I'd like to change the text color as I've already changed the background color, and now the text does not show up. Both are black.
@wpcupidblog
@wpcupidblog 4 күн бұрын
Greetings! Here's how to change the text color with a few different methods. Method 1: Use Theme Customizer. Go to your WordPress Dashboard. Click Appearance > Customize. Look for the Menu, Colors, or Typography settings, depending on your theme. There is usually a specific area for Header or Navigation colors. Find the Text Color option for your menu. Use the color picker to select a color that contrasts with your background. Save your changes. Method 2: Use a Theme-Specific Header Builder. If your theme has a header builder, adjust the colors directly in the header builder. Edit the Header: Go to Appearance > Customize > Header. Select the Navigation Menu element. Look for color settings for Text and Hover/Active states. Adjust the colors as needed. Method 3: Custom CSS If the theme customizer doesn’t offer an option to change the menu text color, you can use Custom CSS. Add Custom CSS: Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. Insert the CSS Code: /* Change menu text color */ .main-navigation a { color: #ffffff; /* Replace with your desired text color */ } /* Optional: Change hover text color */ .main-navigation a:hover { color: #ff0000; /* Replace with your desired hover text color */ } Click Publish to save your changes.

Why that hide title doesn't exist in mine??
@wpcupidblog
@wpcupidblog 7 күн бұрын
Greetings! The option to hide the page title in WordPress depends on the theme or page builder you're using. Not all themes or setups have a built-in option to hide page titles. Here are some common reasons why you might not see the "Hide Title" option: 1. Theme Does Not Support. It Some WordPress themes, especially simpler or older ones, don't include a "Hide Title" feature. For example, the Kadence and Astra themes often have this option, but it might need to be enabled in the page settings. 2. Page Builder Setting. If you're using a page builder like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery, the option to hide the title might be located in the page builder settings for individual pages. 3. Theme Settings Location. Some themes hide this option under Customizations (via Appearance > Customize) or in the page editor itself (usually in the sidebar under Page Settings). 4. Conflict With a Plugin. A plugin, especially one managing layouts or page options, might be conflicting with the theme and hiding or overriding the "Hide Title" functionality. 5. Outdated Theme/Plugins. If your theme or WordPress installation is outdated, the feature may not be present or functioning correctly. How to Fix or Work Around It: 1. Check Your Theme Settings. Go to the Appearance > Customize section or the settings of your theme and look for options related to the layout, display, or title visibility. 2. Use a Plugin. Install a plugin like "Hide Page and Post Title" or CSS Hero to add the ability to hide titles for pages and posts. Keep in mind that plugins can sometimes introduce Site Health issues (as you've experienced before), so choose a lightweight and compatible plugin. 3. CSS Solution. Add custom CSS to hide the title. Here’s a generic snippet you can use: .entry-title { display: none; } Add this code via Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. Make sure it targets the correct class for your theme.

@wpcupidblog 8 күн бұрын
Greetings! It sounds like the buttons or links on your homepage are not correctly pointing to the individual pages you've created. This could be a problem with the URL structure or how the links are assigned. Here's how to resolve the issue: Check the Page Links: Ensure the links assigned to each button are correct. In WordPress: Go to your Pages section in the WordPress dashboard. Copy the correct URL for each page (e.g., About Us, Our Service, History). Edit the buttons on your homepage or wherever they appear. Make sure the button’s link is set to the correct URL for each page. Check Button Links in the Banner: If you're using a page builder like Elementor, click on the button in the banner and check its settings. Ensure the URL is pointing to the correct page (e.g., /about-us, /our-service, /history). If you're not using a page builder, you might need to update the buttons' HTML or links in the widget. Clear Cache: Sometimes caching plugins or the browser cache might cause old page links to persist. If you're using a caching plugin, clear the cache. Also, try clearing your browser cache or viewing the site in an incognito window to make sure you’re seeing the latest version. Ensure No Redirects or Interference: Double-check that there are no redirects or conflicts in your site's .htaccess file or through plugins (like a redirect plugin) that may be forcing the site to display the wrong page. Permalink Settings: Go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard. Check the structure of your URLs and click Save Changes to refresh the settings. If the issue persists, let me know what method you're using to create the buttons (Elementor, WP editor, etc.) so I can guide you more specifically.

Greetings! If the Ivory Search plugin is only displaying the name and not the image, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue: Enable Thumbnail Display in Ivory Search Settings: Go to the WordPress dashboard. Navigate to Ivory Search > Search Forms. Edit the search form you're using. Look for an option like Search Results or Display Settings. Enable Show Post Thumbnails or a similar option. Ensure Images Are Set as Featured Images: Verify that the posts or products have a featured image set. Without a featured image, the plugin cannot display a thumbnail. Check Theme Compatibility: Some themes may override the plugin's default output. Switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Three and test if the images appear in the search results. CSS or Custom Code Conflict: Inspect the search results page using the browser's developer tools. Check if the image containers are being hidden via CSS. Remove or adjust conflicting CSS styles. Plugin and Theme Updates: Ensure both the Ivory Search plugin and your theme are up-to-date. Custom Template Support: Some advanced themes may require you to adjust the search result template. Consult the Ivory Search documentation to modify templates for better compatibility.

Greetings! To make a phone number clickable in the Classic Editor in WordPress, you can use a simple HTML tel: link. Here’s how: Open the Classic Editor: Go to your WordPress dashboard. Navigate to the page or post you want to edit and open it in the Classic Editor. Add the Clickable Phone Number: Switch to the Text tab in the editor (not Visual). Use the following HTML code to create a clickable phone number: <a href="tel:+1234567890">+1 (234) 567-890</a> Replace +1234567890 with your phone number, including the country code if applicable. Switch Back to Visual Mode (Optional): After adding the link, you can switch back to the Visual tab to confirm it appears correctly. Save/Update the Page: Click Update or Publish to save the changes. For Users with Visual Mode Enabled: Highlight the phone number in the Visual tab. Click the Link button (chain icon). Enter tel:+1234567890 as the URL. Save the link. Testing: Open the page on your mobile device. Tap the phone number to ensure it prompts a call.
