Turn the lights on. When i turned my lights on i find the battery lasted alittle longer.... which is weird. I cant believe it only lasts like an hour. I noticed that if you pull throttle back to much it eats the power faster so only pull on throttle a tiny bit. I mean, its ok if i need to go to the store down the street but thats about it. Good video man! And having it done twice with one child and than one adult was/is a very good idea! Thanks again man❤

@@Toolspecs oh for sure it is. I use it to go to the mini mall we have down the street. I put my bucket on the bottom and go to the grocery store with it. Stop for coffee and the Dollar store 🤣 Then go home. It's very convenient for me. Easy to control compared to my other ebike. When I get on my HitWay Ebike it's more scary than getting on the Gyrocopter. The gyrocopter is very easy to control but the Ebike is big. To big. The seat is pasted my hips. If won't go down any further so I'm stuck with having to use Moonboots while driving it 🤣 Makes me alittle taller 🤣 hey, it works 😭🤣🤣 So yah, overall The gyrocopter is my go to when I'm going somewhere close by. I just wish the battery would last alittle longer than what it did 🤣 I'm thinking "oh great the battery is draining fast because I'm fat now"🤣🤣🤣🤣 I gained like 20 pounds 🤣🤣🤣 at least I know know that it doesn't really add that much more time to the battery 🤣👍🏻

@ElizabethDermody I'll order moonboots if I review a other bike lol. Joke aside, I'll review my son's friend E-bike soon. I don't know what brand it is yet but I'll study about it and test it good too. All I know is that it's way bigger than the Vortex.

The problem I have with my 2020 Rav, is when it opens. If pressing the button at the back it won't always open all the way. Sometimes it'll open about 4" press again and it will open another 4" press again and it'll open all of the way. I did the manual reset (power off and open and close). That was fine for a while then the problem came back. The same happened when using the key fob, but not with the button in the car cabin. Sometimes it works correctly other times not. Now with the button at the back in the centre, I hold the button while it's opening and that seems to work.

Those washer things are called Tinnerman clips. Their purpose is to hold the rotors or brake drums from falling off as the vehicle goes down the assembly line with no wheels on it. A thin film of waterproof grease or anti-sieze compound on the round area of the steering knuckle where the hub goes will help get it loose easier if this ever needs to be done again.

Have owned one of these for about 4 years. Why Ryobi didn’t make it usable without the pole is a bit disappointing. The unreliability of Ryobi batteries overall limits the satisfaction level of all their cordless tools IMHO. Saw is very handy.

@@Toolspecs LOL… re the batteries, KZbin is full of videos about how to ‘resurrect’ them. I build up stacks of them that die and won’t recharge. I have a permanent area of my workbench where I tear them down to bypass the safety circuits so I can boost the residual voltage to the point the chargers (I have several) will recharge them. Ryobi has one of the best lineups of battery powered tools but, undoubtedly the worst batteries. You never see contractors using them.

@andyc4670 14 күн бұрын
@Toolspecs I picked up some brass washers from home depot does that work to? Also I've been using a coffee machine that only spikes up to 725 watts however the Ryobi shows I'm under 12 volts goes to 11.1. I'm using it on my car with engine running. It seems to work ok but If my radiator fan kicks on it jumps to 13.5 volts and then my inverter shuts off
@Toolspecs
@Toolspecs 14 күн бұрын
@andyc4670 yes brass is a very good conductor. Wow, which coffee maker do you have? Most of them are 1000w +. I never connected mine to my truck battery while it's running, that too bad that it shut off the inverter when the engine fan kicks on.
@andyc4670
@andyc4670 14 күн бұрын
@@ToolspecsI'm starting to wonder if the inverter is the issue, as I don't recall it behaving this way before. I recently replaced my old 900-watt coffee maker with a Mainstays 5-cup coffee maker from Walmart, which pulls around 730 watts. The old coffee maker used about 875 watts, which I could understand causing problems. What worries me is that the inverter drops to 11.1 volts, and when the radiator fan kicks on, the voltage jumps to 13.5, which is when the inverter shuts off. One solution I’m considering is to only use the inverter for making coffee when the car is cold so that the radiator fan doesn’t come on. This way, the coffee should be done before the fan has a chance to activate. However, I wish it could work simultaneously without issues, which has me thinking there may be something wrong with the inverter, so I’m considering a warranty replacement.
