Frisk does this against monsters. No matter how many times you die, you keep going back in time until you win(Just like you moving back until Martin blunders)

@@ArkhamTactics a core story point as well as an imprortant game mechanic in undertale is respawning, or as the game calls it “determination”. Some monsters in the game canonically are aware that the player keeps respawning and keeps fighting them after every loss because of the players “determination”. Op thought this was similar to how you kept going back and retrying with martin
