I woulds play much better golf if I could follow your advice on 'getting one's mind out of the way'. I think it is very difficult to stop the mind once it begind to engage in negative swing thoughts. I'll try your advice on how to get negativity out and just let the golf swing flow. Thanks for the video.

They say the game of golf is 90% between the ears nice to hear one of most important approaches to the game rather then all the technical aspects that cant often clutter the mind thanks!

In golf, your ego is your biggest enemy. Proper practice is something I never see from amateurs. They are focussed on distance and think it is the holy grail of golf. Golf is about accuracy, not distance. Amateurs also focus on hitting the ball versus swinging the club. Free your mind and your ass will follow.

I'm coming in too steep. It might be mental. Or ingrained. I need to unstuck this ingrainment. Thanks

Really nice, simple advice. I whole-heartedly agree. The hardest but most important course you always play when you're out there is the six-inch course between your ears, as Bobby Jones, I believe said.

Thank you so much! You're absolutely right. Bobby Jones nailed it with that quote. I appreciate your support, and I’m glad the advice resonated with you❤️⛳️

Hi, Kumiko, my handicap dropped from 36 to 33 since I started following your methodology 5 weeks ago. However, my total putting stroke per round is still over 40. My last round score 39 with 41 putts. I feel I am used to 3+ putts, 2 putts is good. Should I set up putting target strokes per hole to improve putting? i.e. avoid 3 putts to what extent? Many thanks,

I came 1st in my comp with 41 points today by following advices: 1 cut off swing shots checklist 2 swing at the target. I become realizing Golf being both mental and physical. Once I sort out my thoughts, golf is more enjoyable than a struggle. Thank you so much.

Thanks...keeping the head absolutely still, and listening for the putt to drop is 66% of the solution. Tempo is important too, which is controlled often by a light to medium grip...too light will cause a grasping quickly while taking the club away.

@@KumikoTheMentalGolfCoach One of the many problems I have with my golf swing is that once I start my backswing my brain shuts down and I just try to hit it as hard as I can. As you know, this doesn't work to well. I don't do this all the time but once I start it's hard to stop. Do you have a tip on how to stay focused through-out my swing?

Try a slow longer backswing before you start the stroke. Tempo 2:1 or 3:1 whatever you are comfortable with

If you aren't establishing a handicap or playing in a tournament, just put the ball in a better position and have fun. Someone should have repaired that divot with sand so it shouldn't penalize you.
