I know this is very trivial compared to Stevie’s great talents but I love her beautiful hair and her style she is very graceful and feminine the image of a real lady

This is such a sinister warning wrapped up in a song I believe it means different things to different people it really can be hard to pick the pieces and go home if you are totally in denial about your loved one

Been cranking this one up since I was 12 years old! 😆 I think she said she never played it live because she couldn't replicate the sound well enough live. She tried to do it once and it sounded a mess. Though I wonder, with technology, if it could be great now.

The only song I like from her. Otherwise, Christie McVie blows Nicks away.

I’m in my 40s and Tom Petty is still one of my favorite artists. I grew up listening to him and just never stopped. I was lucky enough to have seen him 10 or so years ago and got to go back stage to get an album signed

Tom Petty observed that he'd never heard anyone ever try to cover his hit Refugee, mostly because, he reasoned, that it's so uniquely a Heartbreakers song. But Stop Draggin' My Heart Around seems even more impossible to cover. And I think that really Tom was being a bit modest with his reasoning when it came a lack of people trying to play his songs. I think that they weren't covered because they simply couldn't be improved or topped. They sometimes seem simple but are deceptively awesome and complex. Thus the cover band would basically be exposed fairly quick.

Side story: Bob Dylan once said that he was blown away by, and preferred, Jimi Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower, which Dylan first wrote and performed. Dylan said he even changed how he played the song after Jimi's death to match Jimi's version, as a kind of tribute to him. So some songs can indeed be topped, or even kind of taken over, by a new and rising artist. But never this duet, I imagine.

Too bad the guitar riff is a total ripoff from The Police’s “Bring on the Night” from 1979 but, hey, if you didn’t know that it’s a good song 😉

Your probably dead now it's been a while. Just like this song. I had the cult blasting the best rock on earth, playing sanctuary, my wheel had a gigantic quad, it was a thing of waxed sparkling sleek convertible white interior beauty. My friday night space connection home made perscription at 6:30 PM just now started to perculate a NASA take off, I was clean and dressed upscale creases tight starched crisp for adventure. " Houston we have liftoff.". On the interstate I let my spaceship go to cuise maybe 80, they both police cars hit the lights, I did not hesitate. It was on. Felt movie star good. I am way past excited. I am cool. Waited for this moment my whole life. Jumped on and Nailed it to the floor, the quad opened, got pushed back into the seat, it volcanically let go, screaming explosively roared. Not today. Caught a curve and a down off exit, gone, their sirens blew by, a huge win for all little guys everywhere. It was a thrill standing smoking the tires, sideways, could have bought it, bigtime, hearing the sirens keep going. A smile. Yes. It worked out I'm a genius, if it went sideways I would have rolled kicked, and been a spot. But you just know, hope, and go with it.

The younger generation needs to take a clue from Stevie. They don't have to dress and act like prostitutes or use foul language. Actually, most prostitutes have more class than some of today's female "talent".

I won't discount the important message of this track; I just want to draw everyone's attention to Solar Fields and AES Dana, two favourite electronic artists of mine that I never would have imagined would work with Stevie Nicks to co-write and produce this song! Let alone one so important and timely. If you like emotional ambient music, can't recommend their work highly enough. May the resistance against fascism burn all injustice down! ✊
