Very colourful Noel. A bit different weather to in England. Well done 👏

Thanks Keith, yes your Christmas is seemingly a 'traditional' Christmas as represented by the promotions, cards, decorations etc I grew up with. Finally we have started to put bit of an Aussie spin on it...lol Cheers

This is priceless. How did your father end up getting all these autographs? Did he frequent shield matches? If so, I'd be curious as to who his favourite was.
@digimaze8 ай бұрын
Thank you for appreciating the love and effort Dad made getting these signatures. Yes, as a 14 yr old he frequented Adelaide Oval Sheffield Shield matches standing at the cricketers gate.. He grew up in Malvern/Unley and I recall him telling me he and his mates would kick a football around with Vic Richardson on a block cnr Fisher & Duthy Sts. lol I suspect Vic Richardson along with Clarrie Grimmett and Clem Hill were his favourites back in then. He naturally admired Bradman and later in life got to know him.
@user-yi5mt2df5q8 ай бұрын
@@digimaze I would have loved to see Grimmett bowl. Interestingly enough, he was in correspondence with a young Ashley Mallett. As for Vic Richardson, he really does look like the spitting image of Chappelli. What was your father think of Bradman? I wonder how he got to know him too.
@digimaze8 ай бұрын
@@user-yi5mt2df5q I also would loved to have seen Grimmett bowl and Mallett certainly took any advice from him seriously..lol The Chappell boys retained some of Vic's rugged handsome manners and abilities :) My father knew Sir Don when Bradman was a stock broker. :)
@user-yi5mt2df5q8 ай бұрын
@@digimazeAs Bradman was a stockbroker, did your father meet him in the 1930's? I bloody bet he would've had many good stories to tell then haha. You should use the old Channel 9 cricket theme as the background song.
@digimaze8 ай бұрын
@@user-yi5mt2df5q No my father met him in the mid 1940's before the stock broker firm went broke. As you know he was a very private man and rarely spoke about his cricketing feats. I thought of using the Channel 9 cricket theme but KZbin are right on with Licencing. I was surprised I got away with the Wide World of Sports intro..:)

Which trains have amazed you?
@digimaze9 ай бұрын
Now Dewi that's like asking who is your favourite child..lol But the Rocky Mountaineer was relaxing and you were well fed and supplied with drinks. The scenery was nice also. For speed it was the Meglev in Shanghai , the Shinkansen in Japan was fast also, smooth and so organised !! Peru Rail was great as we returned from Machu Picchu on it and was entertained. All including the romantic steam trains have their individual characters 😃

good content but not viewing as expected. only uploading video will not bring you views and subscribers need some technically efforts. main efforts must in SEO option. If you make at least 80+ score video will run better results

Hello digimaze Owner, I saw your KZbin channel, you upload very nice videos on your channel. I have watched all the videos and noticed that all the videos are beautiful. But your channel has many problems. If you don't fix the problem then your video will not get video views organically. Because the KZbin algorithm works on key words, but there is no key word in your channel! Sir, if you do SEO completely then every video will get more views than the views you get sir. Doing SEO will help your video reach the right people and the views will increase constantly. If you want to do SEO on your channel, I can help. I am an SEO expert. Thank you, have a nice day

Hi Samrat, thank you for your kind comments on my videos. My KZbin Channel is really only for my fellow travelers who were on tour with me and so I can revisit my trips also...lol I understand the power of SEO but as I'm not interested in the work behind driving more viewers to my channel I won't worry. Thank you again and I'm looking forward to the next time Australia plays India in the Cricket World Cup...if we do..lol Cheers Noel
