Definitely a ray. I thought dolphin at first (definitely not a shark) but I can guaran-fuckin-tee it's rays. There's a few major tell-tale (or should I say wings) signs it's rays. Also, if you need to learn the difference between a dolphin and shark from above water (or under if you feel ballsy enough), come to Shark Bay in Australia. Monkey Mia's close by where you see so many dolphins it's been a tourist attraction for decades. You can feed the dolphins but you're not allowed to swim with them. There was a little calf in the pod when I went there as a kid so they didn't come in too close to protect their bub. I ended up having a box jellyfish bounce off both backs of my thighs and it fucking hurt like CRAZY!! Left purple markings down my thighs for months. Awesome experience though. I'd HIGHLY recommend Shark Bay and Monkey Mia to anyone. Just respect their boundaries, don't touch and if you're told to get out of the water, you fucking better gtfo😂.

That is definitely some sort of Ray. You could see the two end of its flaps emerge from the water at the same time. If it was a shark you would have seen the tail fin tip slicing the water a short distance behind the dorsal fin.

I'm from St. Petersburg, born and raised. That is a stingray. You'll see the underside of it's right fin is white and the top of the left fin is dark.

We went last year, not really my cup of tea. But my grandson enjoyed it. The food was very good. But I'm getting old so who am I to say. I think it's pretty popular. They do a very good job. I'm just not into the pirate stuff.

I lived and boated in Tampa Bay for 20 years and can tell you that is definitely a dolphin. These are the characteristics of a dolphin: size and shape of the dorsal fin and speed at which its moving. Dolphins frequently swim at pretty fast clip. They will often move in pairs or groups as theyre quite social and if given the opportunity they'll jump in and out of your wake if your running pretty fast! OR they'll just about give you a heart attack by bow riding! Remember the dolphins in Titanic? When my husband and I went into the shipping channel we would always see freighters with from 2-5 dolphins jumping and matching the speed of the freighters and bow riding just about 5-8 ft in front of the freighter. I really miss getting to see that since I moved. Sharks dont do anything like that. As a general rule they dont go that fast either. Sharks just cruise real slow in the shallows because most likely theyre looking for sting rays. When you scarf up sting rays stinger and all you KNOW your one badass fish!

People, people....what you are see and are misidentifying as shark is just dolphins....a shark will usually swim with it's dorsal exposed and not ' bobbing ' unlike the dolphin bobbing and also swimming in pairs is quite normal.....

I reckon about 1 hour and 45 mins, depending on the thickness of the cut. Best to check the temperature with a meat thermometer every 5-10 minutes after 1 1/4 hrs. You want at least 145.
