This was a fantastic series from the BBC. I think it went out around 1989/1990. Would love to see it again. I think this footage is from the second episode. It was called Almost Grown

Jet was such an underrated musician - and lovely fella with it. It's sad Cliff and his fellow ex-band members didn’t recognise his difficulties and help him.

Jet Harris didn't "leave" The Shadows. He was fired as he had a serious problem with alcohol and refused to accept treatment for that. Bruce Welch writes about this in his book "A Life in the Shadows".

Memories are all we have, all we need, no need to go back in time, it’s ok , besides was life really better back then? It wasn’t for everyone, as a whole we are all better off today, much more freedom.
