@planetnocode - I see how to integrate via API, and upload data (text) via your demo. AS a no-coder, I"m unclear on how to connect Google Drive/etc. (as it looks like React is needed for integrations. Do you have a tutorial (on planetnocode) for this?

I don't know whether you've seen, but since recording this video, Carbon has been purchased and will shortly be shutting down :( React was an option but Carbon did allow you to create signed URLs for your users to set up OAuth access to their accounts. We've not tested www.ragie.ai/ yet but they seem like a similar service.

Nice overview. What’s your go to ACL look like for module/feature level access?
@planetnocode
@planetnocode 2 күн бұрын
We wish a versatile ACL was easy to set up. One of the downsides of using no code is having to play within the tools the platform provides. It is certainly possible to group data by teams and then use a Role field to further filter. So privacy rules can be used to control data. You can use conditional statements on workflows and buttons to control feature access.

This video is not all that helpful. You should have shown how to save multiple repeating group input tags or dropdowns.
@planetnocode
@planetnocode 6 күн бұрын
The main premise of the video is how to use a back-end workflow when scheduling on a list to loop through any lists in Bubble. This can be done whether the list is a repeating group or a multi-tag input.

@@planetnocode not in the way you set up the video. Your way does not specifically tell bubble which item in the RG to target and to save to the database. You are doing what a lot of KZbinrs do, the easy way and overstating the benefits. I'm a bit frustrated with bubble because this is such an easy thing to do with normal code yet bubble doesn't offer a clear option for this which is freaking dumb and ridiculous in my opinion

What about accuracy?
@planetnocode

Accuracy can be subjective because it depends on several factors, such as spoken language, strength of accent, and microphone quality. We would suggest signing up for these services, as many of them offer trial credits and allow you to test the service for yourself.

Im working on a project using Assembly and its great so far. Ive decided against storing the transcript (well the utterances section) abd instead call the Assembly API to pull it down whenever needed. Do you have any advice if i wanted to store the transcript in my bubble app instead? The main purpose would be to allow users to amend/correct the transcript if its incorrect...but storing and manipulating JSON is a challenge..? Great vids by the way, keep up the content!
@planetnocode
@planetnocode 8 күн бұрын
Be sure to check how long AssemblyAI keep the record of the transcript if you intend on running an API call each time. We'd suggest either saving the whole transcript with Smart Formatting enabled to a single text field - although think about how that will impact database weight, you may need to consider a satellite data structure. Or create a new data type called Utterance and save each Utterance, if you need to keep the utterances separate.

What about Realtime API from OpenAI Matt?
@planetnocode
@planetnocode 21 күн бұрын
The OpenAI Realtime API is a very cool API for speech to speech AI. Vapi and Elevenlabs have a similar API now too. In this video we are just looking at transcription. More suitable for meeting transcription when used with Bubble because you can't stream data so easily. Although Deepgram is a transcription provider in Vapi.

Hi! How do we format the "closing_date" into a date instead of a string? So you can set a reminder of when that date is approaching?
@planetnocode
@planetnocode 24 күн бұрын
Great question as there are several different formats used across the web to send data between servers. Ultimately your Bubble app stores a date in a date/time field as a UNIX timestamp, but you rarely see this as in the editor and app Bubble converts this to a local expression of the date/time. So perhaps a plugin like this bubble.io/plugin/moment-timezone-date-time-parsing-1619994033040x385116158625054700 or this bubble.io/plugin/timezone--date-stuff-1601505054019x215885144986222600 (we've not tested but looks like it'll do the job) will help you convert a date in string format to an actual date format in Bubble.

Does Gemini allow multimodal RAG?
@planetnocode

RAG is most commonly a third party add-on. Checkout our videos on Carbon.ai to see how you can take RAG data and use it with any LLM 👉 www.planetnocode.com/bubble-tutorial/carbon-ai As for multimodal (if you mean audio and video) that's something we're experimenting with internally and will likely use Carbon.

@@planetnocodealso interested on that. Now i use the plugin and need to bring ca 50mb for the fuzzy search for an ecommerce app that is in the launch phase (ca 150WU for each page load basically and growing). Cant imagine the long term, but maybe having native search without fuzzy is the only way. Let me know if you find another approach, please

I keep seeing folks using tools just to enforce json output format, even though it is a workaround really. I don't condemn it, but it is still important to understand their real purpose. Tool calling (and this applies to all llm providers that have it as part of their API) was actually implemented by LLM providers in order to standardize how we instruct the LLM that it can/must call some tools usually for scenarios where the LLM is instructed to function as a multi-step agent. A tool should be really a functionality that your app can provide as a response to a request made by the LLM as part of its output. The LLM decides what tools it wants to call in a particular situation, (like a web-search or a math module). The way an LLM can instruct the app that it wants to call a tool (and with what parameters) must be somehow included into the LLM's prompt (with details about what each tool can do, what its parameters are, etc.). Instructing an LLM about its toolbox (mainly to build agents) was originally done through classic prompting in natural language, but this was tedious and prone to errors. So what OpenAI did (and others followed) was to finetune their models on examples where instructions about the toolbox were given in a consistent format so GPT was now great at following that format. Next, in order to ensure that instructions about tools are included in the prompt (by us mere mortals) in the same format that it was finetuned on, they made this available through the API. Theres some additional internal magic happening for trully enforcing json output specifically for the tool calling sections of the output, which relies on constrained sampling. OpenAI more recently allows for enforcing JSON output following a given schema for the entire output (not just tool calling), and that should be the way to go when you don't relly want to call a tool, but they are the only ones to provide this functionality for now.
@planetnocode
@planetnocode Ай бұрын
Wow, appreciate your long explanation. Most of our audience are building apps with Bubble.io, a no code platform. Currently it is only Claude's Tools used for the purposes of a JSON mode that works well with Bubble out of the other LLMs we've tried. Ultimately it comes down to a Bubble limitation not the scope of the API.
