He destroyed in F3 cause he was running illegal parts on his car, his teammate let him win, and he had access to an advance simulator that no one else had. Lance is a mid driver, and would've had a harder time getting into F1 (and staying once he made it) if it wasn't for his dad unloading money and buying multiple teams that his son was on. What makes Lance so unbearable is his complete lack of care and accountability, coupled with his tendency to make such boneheaded decisions on a consistent basis, especially for someone with over 150 starts and 7 years in F1. So many other deserving drivers should've replaced him already, but money talks unfortunately. Alonso is pretty much 1v19'ing the entire grid at this point lol

Whilst you make some fair points I can't say I share all your views. Regarding Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo: I really don't see RB promoting Daniel over Yuki unless the former begins to outperform the latter. Only the best race for the head team while the sister team is there to foster talent. We've seen it in seasons prior with Gasly and Albon as both tried and failed to live up to the expectations of Marko and Horner and were subsequently dropped. I reckon Perez was signed because he was a consistent points scorer and, more recently, been an economic success when selling merchandise (not to mention the money he brings in through his sponsors). In regards to Stroll, I think he IS a pay driver but not for the reasons you highlighted. I would recommend "Rocketpoweredmohawk's" video titled "This is why people hate you..." for more context as to why I, and many others for that matter, think he is a pay driver.
