Hey I was checking the reviews on Amazon and it said it was a major disappointment and that it was a baselit saber and not neopixle am I maybe looking at the wrong one?

@@LrizzCase check the pinned comment. I don’t think you’re looking at the wrong one. Some channel friends were sent base lits instead of the neopixel 😳

I would venture a guess that the reason the neopixel is flashing it the contacts at the emiter are losing a connection. Love the message at the end. May the force be with you as well. I subscribed!

@@havoc_64 I have a full video of that neopixel on my channel and that flashing is the “flash on clash” effect in that particular lightsaber 😆 It’s a cheaper neopixel. But I do test all price ranges and have videos of those lightsabers as well on my channel.

I honestly still have it and it’s completely fine. I’m currently playing Stellar Blade but I have hundreds of hours playing Destiny 2 with this controller and I double jump all the time in Destiny 2. I’ve gotten this question a lot. I’ll make an update video that’s to point.

@@thebenji8653 I’m not being condescending but did you not hear my explanation? A neopixel blade is literally a strip of LEDs. Google it. Either way, I have other videos where I test other neopixel lightsabers.

Which is best to get? I wanna get one to keep in my room for now but when we move I do kinda wanna use it abit like swing and etc since I don’t have a lot of room (apartment) and doesn’t xeno blade that if it breaks the light won’t turn on a bit?

if you manage to remove the end tip cap, you can cut the cylinder body where the LED strip was broken, remove the 'dead' LED part of the strip and replace the end tip cap. Did it w\ a standard universal high quality Pixel blade (it wasn't easy bc I was clueless .. but I used a bunch of tools.. 1st- try to use bigger serrated pliers and a rag to avoid scoring \ scarring the end tip cap when you geip it and try to unscrew, some have threads and maybe it can 'break' the gluing if there's any of that at all)

Main take away from this im getting is. Go baselit if you intend to duel pretty consistently (im thinking daily type deal), or have a budget. But you can absolutely put the money in for Neo if you dont intend to duel consistently (holidays or maybe even weekly.) And want that extra flair.

It took a long time before I purchased a light saber because of the last Jedi that ruined it for me. I was about to buy a lightsaber till I watched the movie and I totally stopped watching Star Wars for the longest time. Back to topic, neon pixel just sold for me.

From my understand, you need to buy a new lightsaber because the hilt and saber are different. If you watch the video, the baselit hilt will not light up a neopixel saber or vice versa.

Nice 👍 durability testing. As far as the glue on the connector goes, my bet is that it’s just hot glue and should be able to peel it away easy enough with the help of some tweezers. It would take minimal effort to rewire a new blade.

Would you say the blade length is good for adults who do care about having relatively longer blades?

@@joekori6998 I would go with the Nsabers then. The homsky is good for practice and fun to mess around with. But if I’m going to a convention or “show off”, I’m bringing one of my Nsabers. Up to you though 😖 but I think you’ll notice the shorter blade on the Homsky. Especially if you’re around other people with more “standard” blade lengths.
