I appreciate the information but the only thing is, where your file says “AppleApsMedia” mine reads something along the lines of “SamsungMedia462527” 😭 I follow everything in this video just on the “SamsungMedia462527” so it did not work…next thing I’m thinking about doing is uninstalling the Samsung folder

This still works and a real lifesaver. Appreciate it kid! Untitled did not show and had to do the same process twice chose erase Journaled and Untitled finally showed. The error with mine said must be a GUID Partition. You saved my MacBook Pro, thanks a lot!

This helped!! I added a volume(whatever that means) and named it untitled then I can install MacOS to that volume and it worked.

I was so excited to see this video. You are right there is nothing out there that explains it better than you. However, I am still stuck. I tried to erase in exfat mode and also in journaled mode and mounted, then tried to reinstall macOS Sierra on my MBP 2017. It still gives me an error at the end. I even tried to rename the drive as "Macintosh HD" both in fat and journaled mode but still to no avail. Very sad and frustrated. Help please!
