Ridiculous Midwest refuses to fix or replace these horns on these Chargers, they sound terrible. The average K5LA runs for about $800-$2000 something they can more than afford so there is no excuse having their locos running around sounding like this. Once they get too bad it becomes as safety hazard because they’re harder to hear. Nice video though!

If you're in the Chicago area while Metro does not have huge numbers of cops patrolling platforms they do have lots of closed circuit TV and even though they should be able to see your camera bags and that you're taking photos you may warrant a visit. Their big item is called Metracide for the high number of people that commit suicide and they ask if you're depressed or in trouble etc. Where do I start? Ever since they discontinued Kodachrome 64. The demise of regular passenger trains. Farewell to the unique Motive Power etc
