@SosedSeba I've been asked to do a comparison video of the A6 vs the XF. And I will be doing one in the coming weeks. They both drive beautifully but different. The A6 is more like a waste Tolls but the Jag is firmer and more sporty. Stay tuned to see which one I would choose between the two 😉

@SosedSeba The E class is a very capable car and very good looking. They're both pretty good cars. I'd rather not try and influence you with what I would go for but rather let you appeal to your own hunches. I would recommend driving both and whichever one gives you the best feeling while driving, go for that one. Then just try and compare what it would cost to maintain either which should highlight which would be better. Both aren't cheap ti maintain but if you have a good indy mechanic then it should be on par for either in terms of parts costs. One is German, one is British. Parts are relatively the same in terms of availability and price. From what I know, the Jag 2L engines aren't good. If you decide Jag, get a 3L V6 petrol or Diesel. Don't get a 2L or V8 as they are both bad and won't last long. I didn't keep my 2L long because I knew the motor would fail sooner or later. The timing chains on them have plastic pensioners and they fail. I'd also recommend checking out the Merc you're looking at on the web to see what are common issues with those particular engines and transmissions. If it's a ZF transmission, which it probably is, then you're good. Diesel particulate filters are a problem on most diesels of high mileage no matter the brand so make sure that isn't an issue before purchase. I'd have the car checked out by my own mechanic if you can to see if any codes are stored on the ECU then you should know if you're getting a good car, whether it's the Jag or the Merc. @@tootsboots1 The park lights are w5w or T10. They are hidden deep inside the headlight and have a long tab for you to twist and remove them. Yes, you do have to remove the headlights as it will be easier to reach them. I found it easier to reach them from the low beam side as that aperture is larger to get your hand in there.

@Kyle.therealtor Nope. A misfire is usually caused by a fowled spark plug or ht lead. Mine has a slight misfire and after replacing all six plugs it went away.

@@miguelramirezcastillo5815 Hey Ty, nope, you don't have a cover missing. I was horrified to see Mazda just left that entire area uncovered. Even older Audis have a cover there that needs to be removed for maintenance.

@@Bruce-qn6ee it's easier to wrap any car part while it's on the car. When you take it off, you can't stretch the vinyl over the part unless someone else holds it for you or you use a vice to hold it. This was my experience when wrapping the interior trim of my X260 XF.

If you're referring to the high beams, yes, not just any bulb will fit in there. You have to get an LED bulb that is exactly that same size as the original. If I recall, the high beams were H15 and the low beams H11. I used standard canbus H15 in the low beam projectors with little fans on the back. The H15 were tricky as there is no space for a fan at the back. I used ones that simply just have the plug at the back like the halogen bulbs. @SR1Records it's not for the faint hearted. The rear doors were the most difficult as well as that small piece of chrome in front of the side mirrors. The video is so short but it took an entire day. I wasted an entire roll twice on the one rear door because it came up short at the end of the door. That's why I recommend buying 8 rolls of this stuff. The vinyl I used was good quality and very forgiving. Just take your time and concentrate on one section at a time and it will all come together. Patience is key.

I'll give the dealer one last chance to fix it and if the Dexron makes no difference I'll have to dump the car which is sad for me, but no point putting any more money into it.

@kat-ry1bo that's odd. Did ge have the bonnet stay up perhaps? The struts should simply allow one to push the hood down. If you're able to push the hood down but it won't shut as per normal then the incorrect holes might have been used which means the operation of the struts would ve impeded.

@matedervalics5051 It doesn't matter, all the LHD and RHD tail lights are the same and the plugs are the same. As long as you buy the tail light that is for your car, eg. Non facelift vs face lift. Non facelift is 2007 to 2012. Face lift is late 2012 to 2015

I would think only the dealer will have these new. But they will just go weird after time again and you will end up having to get that sticky stuff off again. Might was well try it on your original buttons and clean off the sticky goo and if you mess it up, get a set of buttons from a salvage yard.
