In John 14:8 Philip wanted to see the Father, Jesus replied, you have seen me, from now on you have seen the Father. In Isaiah 9:6 is the prophecy of the coming Messiah. Onto us, a son is given, he will be called Mighty God, Everlasting Father, wonderful Counsellor (Holy Spirit) and Prince of Peace. That statement illustrates, Jesus is God the Father. And Revelation 21:7 where Jesus said, I will be their God and they will be my children. Is heaven the universe above our heads? Is not the earth already in heaven? Didn’t Jesus claim to be the way, the truth and the Life in John 14;6 And didn’t Jesus say: on that day I am(Jesus) in the Father, and you are in me(Jesus )and I am (Jesus) in you. One doesn’t have to wait till death, one doesn’t have to go anywhere. Jesus is in humankind as the Life, all your life he was with you, your best play time, your best thoughts, ideas were from him. No one knows you better, no one loves you more. Reading and re-reading helps us understand the Bible better but it’s all there,

John 12: v29 thru v31 The people therefore that stood by and heard it said that it thundered. Others said an ... angel ... spake to Him [Lord Jesus] Jesus answered and said: This voice came not because of Me but for your sakes Now is the judgment of this world. Now shall the prince of this world be cast out Who's cast out? ... Father? ... Lord God Almighty was cast out of Heaven? Wonder if John 12: v31 has anything to do with Isaiah 14: v14 an v15 ... Interesting when certain believers never mention the voice from Heaven in John 12 yet describe that voice in Mark 1, Matthew 3, Matthew 17 and 1 Peter By the way. The Holy Spirit overshadowed the virgin Mary causing her to become pregnant. Means the Holy Spirit is Father. But that's another topic Anyways. Go to a man of God who knows the difference between titles baptism and baptism in the title-name-title of Lord Jesus Christ

I have chosen - instead of being obsessed with irrational superstition promoted by controlling people - to live my own life, to focus on what is real: myself and the people around me. I find it richer to practice random kindness, generosity - not necessarily money but time -, to listen and trying to understand … I also enjoy some time for myself in true spirituality, taking distance from my always spinning mind. Life is now, not tomorrow, not after my death. Further I realize that I am the only person responsible for my own happiness. I would summarize by saying “All the rest is pure BS”.

Hello Bernard. Blessings brother! The commandments are a transcript of the character of God and transgressing any of them is the very definition of sin (I John 3:4). The covenant was made by Israel in Exodus 19… “whatever the Lord says we will do” however, they failed in their own power and so will we (see Romans 7). It is only by God’s grace, the divine influence on our heart AND the reflection in our life, that we can obey His will. Then HE (not us) will write His laws on our heart, He will not do away with His laws but they will become our promises when connected to Christ, the Vine. For it is God who works in you to will and do His good pleasure!

How is killing people going to save you?

Um, it would have been impossible for Jesus to be resurrected on Sunday if he was crucified on Friday. Jesus said as the sign of Jonah, he would be in the earth for 3 days and 3 nights. That would mean he had to have been crucified on Wednesday and put in the tomb before sundown, the first night! You can do the math after that.
