The Catholic Church has been corrupted since day one.

When the Flagellants flogged themselves, they spread the disease with their blood. The pins that were on the whips punctured their skin, causing bleeding, which also led to another deadly disease, tetanus. There were no tetanus shots in 1348.

Great explanation and it really helped me understand the link of the Black Death to the Catholic Church. Also wondering, do you have any tips to find good sources to link to your argument? Thank you.

Hi, I just wanted to say that this video helped a lot in understanding the Black Death's link to the Plague. Also wanted to remark the excellent sources that you have found. Wondering if you have any tips on finding sources that can specifically link to your argument

I'm reading books that describe methods to draw in perspective. And man... thanks for this video. Now I understand the value of "show, don't tell". You saved me from crying for hours in the little corner of stupity.

All of those perfect numbers seem to digitally reduce to 1, except the first.

Great intuition! I recommend investigating further, you'll find the perfect number theorems by Euclid and Mersenne Primes as the tools that will carry you. I also encourage you to check out deficient, abundant, and our perfect numbers for this. “The natural numbers were first classified as either deficient, perfect or abundant by Nicomachus in his Introductio Arithmetica (circa 100).” (from Wikipedia) You'll find you are correct, all even perfect numbers besides 6 will reduce to a digital root of 1. Now, if only we could prove that Mersenne Primes are infinite, and that no odd perfect numbers exist; then we'd have an infinite generator of perfect numbers!

I was born and raised in Guatemala, the heart of the Maya people. Just wanted to point out the 0:03 mark you are showing a round Aztec or mexica calendar. Maya calendar is similar but not the same. The face in the center is the dead giveaway of a major difference between the two

Thank you! sorry for the mistake! The codices shown are all Mexica in origin, but it is unfortunate that I said Maya in the beginning as a wrong reference to the Mexica one. I appreciate it :]

Very excellent video, and the lasagna quote made me cringe. Very important part of history though, and I hope you get many more views for your work. Luther made many compelling arguments, but I don’t agree with his resulting conclusions, but I’m Catholic. Definitely one of the most important moments in Christian history! Thanks a bunch

@@michaelmuro4475 Aweosme! Definitely check out the same sources I used, Aberths Black Death is a good collection of primary sources.. but remember, always be critical of your own statement. Prove to yourself until you can't any longer that this disease has enough influence on groups of people to eventually over 150+ years later to cause a schism in the religion that dominates an entire continent. :]

The original picture used for motivation is taken from Stephen Dando-Collins' Legions of Rome, wonderful book for an organized look at the entirety of the Roman military, and sets you up beautifully to find the primary sources to read yourself :]
