hi, I have one question : is this type of hearing aid OK for everybody ? I was told that in my case it's better to get hearing aids that let sounds pass through instead of occlusive hearing aids...Unfortunately I find that the Nexia (which let sounds go by) have not the power and bass that my airpods pro are capable of. Hence my question...Thanks for your help

Phonak actually has real Bluetooth capabilities so I don't need all those interfaces to work with all the devices that have Bluetooth built in. Why pay you all more money for extra mandatory devices when Phonak hearing aids can connect DIRECTLY to my PC, TV, Phone, Cars, Watch, etc.! ReSound needs to come into the 21st Century and just offer BLUETOOTH connectivity to everything and stop limiting what can be connected to so we have to buy more of your crap devices to do it. I can watch TV at a friends home just by connecting my Phonak's to it directly. I can go to any office and connect to their Bluetooth PC and work there. I get in my car and it auto connects to my hearing aids. Wow, Phonak is letting us live in the 21st Century. Get with the game all you backwards hearing aid manufacturers. ReSound are you listening or do you need some Phonak's to "HEAR" the message?

Assuming you have Resound Nexia hearing aids, and your audiologist has already helped you pair them to the Resound 3D app for your phone, the Streamer+ pairing process is as follows: 1. Your streamer+ must be plugged into your TV audio output jack(s) and must be plugged in to power. There’s a white LED on the back of the Streamer+ to indicate it has power. 2. Press the pairing button on the back of the Streamer+ device. The front panel green light will flash. 3. Immediately tap on the 3D app “More” button (bottom right corner of app), then tap on “Pair new wireless accessory.” 4. The Streamer+ should show up on your app screen. Tap it to continue. Tap on finish. The green light on the Streamer+ front panel should be on steadily if pairing was successful. 5. After about 20 seconds, you should hear the TV audio in your hearing aids, and a new Streamer+ screen button will appear on your 3D app main screen. Tapping this Streamer+ app button will toggle streaming on and off. A note: Many newer TVs don’t have the correct jacks to use this Streamer+ device, but many do already have a built-in Bluetooth transmitter that can stream directly to hearing aids. When I connected this Streamer+ to my older Sony TV (that does have the correct optical audio jack), it wouldn’t stream audio. Turns out the optical audio jack only outputs audio when playing broadcasts or DVDs that have 5.1 audio. Regular broadcast stereo TV won’t play audio over the optical audio jack. So, for Streaming regular TV, your TV needs to have left and right audio output jacks (most don’t have these). If your TV doesn’t have left and right audio output jacks, then if your TV has a headphone jack, you could buy a “3.5mm male to male stereo cable” that plugs into the TV headphone jack and plugs into the back of this Streamer+. This could work to stream TV audio, but would cut off the audio to anyone watching TV with you (because plugging into a headphone jack usually cuts off the main TV speakers.

I had an issue getting my tv sound through my hearing aids I paired like shown in the video I didn't see it in the manual (or this video) - but you have to connect the Smart 3d app to the Streamer+ After I did that, worked like a charm If I want to listen to the TV thru the HAs, just click a button in the android app - click the button again to turn the HA TV sound off Works great for listening to the TV when others are sleeping/working I have: Resound Nexias Galaxy S24 Plus TCL Google TV with optical audio out

I just received a new Omnia 9 hearing aids, still unopened/unsealed waiting for audiologist appointment, when I found that Nexia only has Bluetooth LE which I need as well. What Resound will advice me to do in this situation if any future upgrade of the Resound app will not help me acquire Bluetooth LE?

Purchased the ReSound Nexia 9 hearing aids a few months ago and no one including ReSound Tech Support or Audiologist have had any luck getting the phone call feature working on them with my Galaxy S23 phone. I have to disconnect bluetooth sound from the hearing aids before I make a call and before answering an incoming call. Otherwise the folks on the other end complain of hearing a garbled mess. Other features seem to work but this is a big feature to not have working. No one is certain if it is the hearing aids or their Smart 3D app causing the issue. If you have a newer phone such as mine make sure you test this feature well, before you pay out the money for these new Nexia hearing aids. Just my experience. Others may not be having this issue?

Got to be the hardest person to understand for the hard of hearing 😂😂😂they wait 10 years because hearing aids look 5hite and are sooo overpriced and simple dont work however the makers keep coming up with o it will do this it will do that dont think so you be lucky if you can get 10% better actuel voice clarity

I have just gotten the Resound Nexia a couple weeks ago, and the size is wonderful. However, the sounds is not so good as I am still learning how to navigate the app. One of the areas needed improvement is the connecting line needed to be shorter and flush in the ear. The connecting line is too long and visible. This takes away the beauty of the hearing aids. Additionally, the ear moles are very difficult to remove.

What is the difference between your hearing aid and my Sigma hearing aids. Do you have an audiologist promoting these hearing aids in South Africa? What is the price of a pair?
