Not normal water it is called sugar syrup... Use strawberry syrup instead of sugar syrup.. It tastes heaven..

Mom put homemade cream cheese icing on the layers and top and she also put cherry pie filling on each layer and the top.. it was so good.. taste just as good as ice cream cake..

The original Black Forest cake does not contain water but cherry-flavored alcohol, fresh cherries or pickled cherries in the cake and as a decoration on the cake. 😮😊
