Yeah I'll wait to hear how it is from audiences before hopping in. Honestly not interested unless it happens to be highly liked. The writers for Homecoming held off from the origin for good reason - we've already seen it at minimum 3x, and it's been shown closer to 10x between all the games, movies and TV Shows. What is the benefit to also watching this one? If it doesn't garner a huge audience/strong recommendations, I probably won't tune in.

As long as they change the character to be smarter and have more gadgets then he can be in the same world as superman. He needs to be smart enough to stop superman if needed. Also we need him to be stronger and more amazing like captain America or Aflex batman in the warehouse seen.

I'm gonna have to go with the prequels. Although I don't hate the sequels. I think TFA is enjoyable enough, with a TON of flaws. I enjoy TLJ to a pretty good degree, but TROS is one of the worst big budget films I've ever watched. But at the end of the day, both trilogies are flawed to various degrees. I think the hate for both of them is overhated though.

Battinson is more of a detective than any other, in my opinion, which is the best way I can see for him to work with metahumans in live action. But you need a more seasoned Bat and it also doesn't fit that world. Snyder had the right idea of a Batman within a Superman universe. The implementation was atrocious, but still.

Appealing to a very wide audience doesnt work. Grandma does not want to see the flash unless hes being played by a young marlon brando. Make a very good film that is very appealing to a smaller audience. Word of mouth will carry it from there

What do you think of the Russo’s comments?

Netflix Daredevil is in the same universe as the MCU but is still kind of removed as well, so it is possible to have Batman in the DCU but also not really in the DCU. What I really wish for is for somehow to move Colin Farrell's Penguin and Cristin Milioti's Sophia Falcone to the MCU to appear in Daredevil alongside Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio. Perhaps Anamalgam miniseries or something.

I feel like the the universe of Robert's Batman is a bit too dark, gritty, and realistic to co-exist with Gunn's superman. Not to say Gunn's universe isn't dark, but the universes are too tonally different to me.

The Flash and The Suicide Squad were pretty much the only good things to come out of the DCEU and they both failed financially. What a shame.

Between the pandemic, super hero fatigue, politics, and the opaque nature of genuine statistics for the viewership on streaming services, it's nearly impossible to get a real handle on all of this. One particularly troublesome problem is that without the physical media release on DVD being a thing anymore there is one less rock solid, easily understood public data point available to anchor any one particular metric of success, and one less vital opportunity for a film that didn't do well in theaters to redeem itself financially.

I've pretty much enjoyed everything except the new trilogy. Sure, some shows are better than others but the movies were never high art either. Personally, I'd do the shows animated to save on production costs. Most shows work up to insane budgets, not starting thay way out the gate.
