Do you pay for fuel and Maintenance? (Please use detail)

@@Christian-cy2pu no the company gives the drivers a corporate card to pay for the fuel and for maintenance and repairs. We just go to a truckstop or we’re broke down on the side of the road. I had great time at Melton. Damn good company with a really good culture for the drivers. I left in 2022 for better home time opportunities and higher pay. Melton definitely pays more than anybody else to tarp. They also have great equipment. I’m actually flying out Sunday to go back to P&S. What fits my lifestyle and situation best about P&S is the flex dispatch. You can choose between around 3 to 4 loads after empty. Also home time is weekly unless you choose to stay out. Furthermore you can take off whenever you want to just plan for not getting paid. P&S has a lot of freight and lots of preloaded trailers. The workload on securement isn’t as tough as it is at Melton. Downside is P&S trucks aren’t as trimmed like Melton. No fridge or TV mount. No nice terminals with a cafeteria either. No clothing shop at any terminal lol. Salute to you and salute to Melton Truck lines for training me to be a flatbed driver. Again I loved my time there! Any of your subscribers reading this comment, Melton Truck Lines is an outstanding company to work for. Show up ready to word but also have patience and understand things are not perfect in the trucking industry. Melton will take care of you and get you paid after training you right!!

@@jarrod7286 my friend I really do appreciate your input and I welcome you to comment on any of my videos. I tried to get my CDL license by taking a class and then went to a yard for the training program but the hardest part of it for me was trying to remember everything on the truck from the front to the back of the truck before I left the yard so that when I was done I could go to the DMV to get my CDL license from the Secretary of State in Illinois and I know that the State of Illinois Has The Strictest Laws in the Country as far as getting your CDL license from. My permit had expired last November 2023. I just turned 60 yrs old this October and my Financial Situation is Not Good Enough for Me To Retire On and I’m Afraid I’ll have to work for the rest of my life until I pass away. If there’s anyone who can help me out with a message in my comment section please let me know what my options would be. Thanks for your Help. God Bless You 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
