I'm so grateful that I've been listening and following these type of "self-help" videos. I've been thinking to change since 2023 without any plan, and it didn't work. So I told myself, that I needed to change in 2024 and watched videos that could help me like romanticizing studying, prioritizing mental health, disconnecting from people whom are not a help in my journey and erasing those negative thoughts. (im also planning to become a psychiatrist or a nurse/doctor in the future!! gl to me, i'm focusing on anatomy this summer break because i'm about to graduate in 2 days may 29, 2024.) --- I've always wanted a "glow up" since, as I've been watching these videos it really helped me continue my journey to become a better person, I'm currently 12 years old now. I mean, it's still pretty young but I've realize that I can start more early, maturing and realizing the things that I would never do in the future and having discipline. Before, I used to not clean my room/home (which now i realize is disgusting lol, especially having asian parents and to myself) -- and because of these videos whom inspired me to do my best I cleaned. I cleaned for 6 hours straight on Saturday last week. My plan (schedule) is to have a "restart day", that's what I like to call it, where I totally clean my house and make all the things organized. (i strictly follow this, i could feel guilt if i dont ngl) And I could really feel and see that change already of this month of May, I feel more happier, positive & pretty. Thank you to everyone whom helped me throughout this, again I know I'm quite young to begin with but I've experienced some things that were too early to experience. (??? yeah im not making any sense anymore but im jst rlly thankful because i really feel more confident that i could achieve more things rather than before where i was sulking and being a negative person. i honestly dislike people who are negative to themselves and to people around them. so uhh yeah, i wish you all gl if you made it up reading all this all and i wish things will get much more better with more opportunities to me. and ofc all of u too) more things to say : im buying like skin care products, clothes, hair care products, make up, etc. from my own money, i saved up money from saving my "school money", and from selling ice & icecream istg its a life changer. i'm planning on buying books too but i have a list that i wanna buy but i also dont wanna spend it all on the things i want, but the things i need, like in-order for me to become a nurse or a doctor i need to buy books in-order to gain knowledge (i know i can just use the internet but my pc is actually broken and i really want to read to begin with) -- it's basically jst on my list of things i wanna buy. and im achieving "high grades" achieving my 95, 96 & 98. 🎉 I know it's just a warm up since its jst grade 6 things and i'm really excited to go into highschool which im preparing for it in summer break im planning to study lessons that will be lectured next year or probably more harder things(???) especially math gotta learn the fundamantels first ykyk or ill fail it LOL. well uhh yea ig ive made this the life documentary smth in this comment :)

2:19 not sleeping well, reading too much or studying too much, staying and too much time at your phone are another reasons. I say that by personal experiences.

I did managed that less than one hours bar for few days during my semester exam days... Only cuz I have books and a laptop to study from... I mean steps you mentioned must be just too too hard for 95% or even more of the peoples... I use focus mode instead... Btw my most screen time was on KZbin and Animes

ADVICE FROM ME. This video actaully can be helpful to some people. Before i was having 4-14 HOURS. Tiktok, a bunch of games, my life was being basically wasted on staring at my screen, some ways that could help solve your phone addiction or, just any other device. 1. Delete most social media, Instagram, Tiktok, ones that take SO MUCH time off your day, this can increase productivity and make you actaully think for once what to do, do arts & crafts, talk to your family, talk to friends, KZbin can be helpful, you only need to get rid of KZbin if your completley sure, KZbin can include study tutorials, how to cope during exams, how to cope with anxiety & depression, how to help your ADHD, etc. But you have to be mindful, you could go completley back into it with one stupid video, that means nothing. 2. Get rid of all notifications, you dont need them, not if there your messages at least. 3. Take your device out of the main room your in most of the time, for example: the phone is not in the bedroom no longer, instead in the kitchen. This can help you when you randomly wake up at the middle of the night and without caution pick it up and mindlessly scroll through videos and decrease your schedule, sleep time, sleep is important, a long time without good sleep leads to not getting enough sleep can lower your sex drive, weaken your immune system, cause thinking issues, and lead to weight gain. When you don’t get enough sleep, you may also increase your risk of certain cancers, diabetes, and even car accidents in some cases. Please, be mindful. 4. Understand that your screen time can be controlled not to just throw the device away, basically wasting that money you spent on it, listen to audiobooks, do some meditation, yoga, exercise apps, your device is a TOOL, not a mindless scrolling "thing". 5. Go in the clock app, put a timer for how long you should be on your device, 5-10 mins, or just a hour is good time, when the timer goes off, swipe away all apps you were using and turn of fyour device. 6. Grayscale filter works brilliantly. 7. Try to do a "no phone-day" and limit it to walks, mindfulness, meditation, exercise, spending time on family and pets friends etc. 8. Try to put a more boring lockscreen and homescreen, for example just a black background, seeing yourself looking miserable in your bed under the covers with bloodshot eyes could be enough to put your device down. 9. Turn off fingerprint/face ID so you have to manually type in a passcode every time you open your phone. works especially well if you input a longer password because you don't necessarily feel like typing in a long password every time you want to check your phone. 10. SOUNDS. Sounds are so critical and grab your attention more quickly than visual when it comes to smartphones plus I limited the usage of social media apps which greatly improved my well being. 11. Many of us use our phones for work when we're outside and everything you said restricts that ability a lot. I get that social media can take up a lot of time but deleting it isn't the solution but rather learning self control works because inherently social media isn't bad it can allow you to connect with friends that you don't get to see in person often. Deleting apps can be a amazing thing, but will not solve phone addictions, you can also add parental controls to make sure you cant redownload a annoying, time-consuming app again without a passcode, that specifically, is long and you dont remember, no.. it cant be 1234, it would be too easy.

This is true, I actually forgot lunch at home today at school and had a barbecue packet with a spoon for lunch, and I aced my math test, when I thought I’d be starving the entire time. Keep this content up, if it isn’t already going well for you, then it will be greater in the future. I didn’t know you had shorts before, but I’m starting to check your content more. Now is the time to start.

A lot of regrets in one’s life. Ever heard of Immersive Translate?? It's a tool that supports real-time subtitles and generate them for videos in foreign languages. With the subtitles, you fully understand the video content and naturally learn a foreign language while watching.
