how to connect it to my computer? music library on computer - how to hook up the musibaby?
@JazzRockFusionSynthesizerMusic13 күн бұрын
You will need a computer that has bluetooth on it. If your computer/laptop/iPad doesn't have bluetooth, you can buy a USB-based bluetooth device to plug into your *computer/laptop* USB port. (My iPad has bluetooth so I believe that feature is standard for Apple devices 5 - 10 years old.) USB device will automatically install what it needs to work. So . . . then find your bluetooth program on your computer. Turn on your Musibaby device. Turn on bluetooth program on your computer and let it scan and discover "new" device. It should then find Musibaby. It should read "MusiBaby-M68" or something similar. Select it or pair it so both devices are connected wirelessly via bluetooth. Turn on audio on you computer and you will hear it playing via MusiBaby. Simple. Also your MusiBaby has a manual to walk you through the steps to success. Good Luck! *I also highly recommend the OontZ Ultra Bluetooth 5.4 Speaker. Killer device that smokes the MusiBaby IMHO.* Get it here: www.amazon.com/dp/B073BVWRSP

I’m brand new to synths and this is the type of music I’d love to achieve. I’m looking at the Roland Gaia 2. Any opinions? Brands?
@JazzRockFusionSynthesizerMusic17 күн бұрын
@@BlueSkiesBlackDeath Well, join the club! Before I discuss hardware type synths, please be aware, that if you own or decide to purchase an iPad, there are a myriad of synths for that device. You either have the keyboard on your screen or you will need a Keyboard Controller. It’s a bit complicated that route but you’ll save oodles of cash buying many synth apps for as low as $2.99 and up to like $39.99. You can in this way get decent emulations of expensive vintage synthesizers. If curious, just ask. As for real synthesizers with that feel of keyboards and knobs and switches and joysticks at your fingertips, there some great ones. The most widely successful synthesizers sold of all time is the Korg microKorg. Only drawback is that the keys are quite small and unnatural. I love my “new to me” Korg Wavestate. I also own a Waldorf Blofeld. I also recommend the Roland GAIA SH-01. Lastly, I sold my Korg microKorg and upgraded to a Korg microKorg-S. As for the synthesizer of choice I see so often used by professional musicians on stage, 90% of the time it’s a Nord synth. I hope this gives you some starter ideas. Finally, when you buy a synth, it will come preprogrammed with sometimes hundreds of presets. But you may not like very many, which is what happens to me a lot. So…. you read the manual or ask another experienced player the basics of sound synthesis. For example, my style of music requires I always fine tune ADSR which means Attack Decay Sustain Release. It is very important. But ADSR is only the tip of the iceberg for synthesis. 😎👍🎼🎹

What a fantastic recording. Thanks for sharing it. For me, they were the epitome of a jazz rock chamber ensemble, especially in this, their early electric period, with Bill on guitar and Chick mainly on electric piano. Of course Stanley and Lenny were the consummate rhythm section as well as virtuosi. I liked their earlier stuff with flute/vocals and maintained an interest in them up to The Romantic Warrior era, but for me, they peaked around ’73/74, as on this recording. Bill had an exquisite tone at that time and an intriguing sense of structure. All his phrasing was meaningful and beautifully expressive. One of my favourite guitarists.

As my 89 year old father-in-law says, determine your minimum need for support system and then add at least 50% more support. So if you decide 10 Camo blocks are enough, add 5. Over support never hurts and not enough is a huge mess to address.

There's a soundboard mix of this show but as I recall someone tried to match the video footage to the audio and due to a sample rate mismatch which resulted in the video and audio getting out of synchronization - in a way, I like this room recording as there's a lot of air and natural reflections happening to the sound. I wonder if somehow it could be mixed in with the other audio?
@JazzRockFusionSynthesizerMusic29 күн бұрын
@@aliensporebomb I tried that but found way too many challenges in synchronizing audio with video. Soundboard recording had some types of time dilation LOL and micro pauses that prevented syncing with my original stereo audio. It was a nightmare. I gave up. Maybe, one day, I’ll try it again. But no time soon.
