The instructions got confusing when you over-explained..there’s nothing clear about how to connect the woofer to the crossover. And i dreaded not seeing a towel on that 4runner dash. That’s why I work on my own interior, and no one else.

this is relevant to my 2020 corolla jl audio c2-600 components install im about to do it has the same 4 pin connector at tweeter. i ended up buying the tweeter harness for my corolla install the crossovers in the same fashion. im using a kicker key 200.4 to power them. originally i was gonna set it in bi-amp mode im just thimkimg itll be alot easier to install it using all 4 speaker inputs as this is my first time installing an amp and component speakers. great video still great even 8 years later cause toyota still wires theyre tweeters this way.

I don’t think the airbag sensor is for the actual airbag. It is for the weight detection and alarm for airbags not popping the airbag. Am I correct?

I added this set up to my 2024 tundra and have the RCA’s running to my Alpine S-A60M mono amp and I get what sounds to be exhaust noise coming from my subs. I’ve bought better RCA’s and tried changing the ground on my amp but still can’t find a solution

Hi, every 4Runner video shows them taking apart the dash to install the harness….. is it not possible to use an amplifier with a high level input, where you don’t use the RCA’s, just connecting the speaker wires into it? I have the Rockford fosgate 500-1 hooked up in my truck and it sounds great, but wanted to put an amp in my wife’s 4Runner and not have to rip the dash apart.

I got focal 165as with crossovers going in a 2017 tundra crewmax non jbl, done it like this, run new wire through door up to new tweeters in the dash, theyre barely producing any sound, any advice?

At this price point isnt it better to add a double din ? So you can have that rca n amp wire and more adjustable features ?
