Psalm for the Wild-Built is the first book of Becky's I've found. I'm an amateur scifi writer looking for her groove and found the book to be inspiring despite my usual lack of interest in robot stories.

Wow, I am so surprised to see these two together. Two people I have come to appreciate from different areas that I didn't really see would have crossover.

You know why this structure of our society seems so stubbornly resistant to change? Because poor people are eating cookies. It used to be, generally speaking, that when a political system created vast inequity those on the short end of the stick would literally be starving. Meaning the masses had no choice but to overthrow the ruling class. But the advent of nitrogen enriched soil made food so abundant that even poor people are obese. So therefore, economic inequity is no longer an existential threat and is no longer motivation enough to overthrow the ruling class. Because, yea that guy is flying rockets to mars just for laughs, but at least I got cookies...

45:42. It's cool to hear Brian talk about this process of saving little bits and quotes on his phone. I work retail, and whenever I hear a random quote or choice of words I love I'll jot them down in a notebook for future reference.

I'm from South Carolina.... I'm 35 and I can tell you the south hardly changes and in these most uncertain times I feel a strong pillar in my life from being a south Carolinian and I can hear it in other interviews from Ms Allison. You can always take the girl out of the south but it's impossible to take all the south Carolina out of the girl. That is the best compliment I can give. There are wonderful things about the south.... I am here to tell you that her being a radical feminist as the puts it.. and I'm a gay trump supporter.... I love her forever and Ms Allison makes me want to be a radical feminist. She is my hands down most favorite writer of all time in all categories. When you are it your it. And Ms Allison you are number 1.

Seriously, though, this is really nice, I feel lucky to have found this video. it's like I wandered into a bar for no special reason, and a great band was hanging out, talking and jamming, and I was the only person there, fly on the wall... These two artists are at the top of their game, and for some reason, no one has found this video, but the discussion, and the reading are awesome. Lots of interesting and honest discourse. And a complement to the host, who did a great job introducing the performers, and getting out of the way, letting them be themselves. I'll check out some of the other content posted, very well done. Thank you all!

🙏🙏🙏 Why aren't your video views increasing? And not reaching people? The reason is 1. Your video is not being SEO properly 2. Your video is not reaching the right people 3. Not using video hashtags properly 4. Not sharing the video on social media There are a few more reasons. That's why your videos are limited to your channel. Can't get out In a word, your video is awesome. such videos are in great demand. If you do these things correctly. Hopefully you will get a lot of visitors. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. If i can help a wonderful person like you. Feel lucky. I will cooperate with you in all kinds. I am waiting your reply,,,,,

From Tacoma here. It is refreshing to hear white women talk about race. It is very rare to hear white women specifically talk about race and how they see it, view it, and how the benefit from it. More white women should discuss this topic and have videos about it. If white women feel that there is no problem, it doesn't mean they are a bad person or racist. It would be a chance to hear them and ask them to then hear me and understand her privilege. I do find that the best chance of breaking the system of white privilege is by white women. Typically women tend to be more understanding situations and inequities more so than men. Also I wish these women would have said if they were mothers of white children or black children. Only one I believe mentioned thr race of her child. It would be interesting to see how their experiences and beliefs would be.
