A secret not to many people notice but with crj 700 the nacelle cone has a slight size difference each engine and it can be left or right

I have dozens upon dozens of airplane models in my room, and the first one I ever received was of a KC-10 way back in 2005. I’ll always have a weak spot for the extender!

It varies from carrier to carrier but these American Eagle CRJ-700s operated by SkyWest have 65 seats

A ducted fan runs in tail cowel and the end is open and rotates from pilot side to close position controls yaw

I will not be surprised to see more Embraer/Airbuss added to their fleet as older 737's are retired. Boeing's continued debacles does not inspire confidence.

That’s because this isn’t an airline! This operator uses DC-10s to drop fire retardant onto wildfires Trijets are definitely pretty cool

Nice video! If you're interested, a DHL 767-200 (N651GT) is here today and it has original JT9D engines, which sound absolutely insane. Try and catch it if you want! 👍

Unfortunately I live hours away from PDX, on the opposite side of the state, and only visit the airport when I’m up there (also appears I would’ve missed it by now anyway)

It’s my favorite as well, because it wasn’t busy and free. Although if I recall correctly the nearby parking lot was setup with a parking fee last time I was there…

Possibly, hard to 100% certain. It’s odd because I remember screenshoting the flight flightradar24 and I guess I just lost it between then and whenever I uploaded this It was a very beautiful departure, and it’s the closest I’ve ever been to a flying 747 so it was quite something to see it in person

It sure was extraordinary, and something I missed from the last time I flew at night, although it was a bit brighter than what was shown here. Except for below the clouds, that was dark And to think a roughly 6 and a half year old phone was able to record that Edit: can’t help but notice N932AK in your pfp

@@mfrplanespotting odd that your camera records night darker than it is, my camera does the opposite which is odd. And yeah, i saw the orca livery at Portland a few months ago when i was there for Memorial day.
