I haven't talked to any customers using that specific combo, but the HC belt is a standard 1.5in size and thickness, so it should be fine.

@@TOPTENTRAVEL01 every Omni sheath comes with the adaptor installed. It isn’t intended for horizontal carry. I’m sorry to hear you had a poor experience ordering from Shivworks. Hopefully they resolved it to your satisfaction.

@@HenryHolsters They did get me sorted out, and they were great. Okay, I guess no horizontal carry, and I wondered if the adaptor might be on it already. If you find a way, I'd pay for a new sheath for horizontal carry. And thanks for such an immediate reply.

The factory sheath that comes with every knife is not an Omni sheath. The adaptor is only compatible with the Omni sheath, and comes installed on every Omni sheath.

Because in many cases, that isn't true. On lots of light-bearing holsters, the kydex molded over the end of the light bezel is main thing that controls the insertion depth of the firearm into the holster. If you cut that away, or remold it to allow a longer bezel through, the gun may no longer register at the intended depth and may not engage properly with the retention features of the holster. Also, if the bezel is poking out of the end of the holster, the entire firearm is much more susceptible to being bumped up out of place, potentially exposing the trigger while the gun is still in the holster.

What would that get you that a pair of Mod4s doesn't get you?

No, it doesn't. Sig made the rail position on the AXG Legion lower than on the polymer version, so the light sits in a different position, and will not fit the holster properly. It's frustrating, but very typical of Sig.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but light-bearing M&P holsters are very low on our priority list for development, so that's unlikely to be available anytime soon.

The bezel face is the main stop that controls how far the gun/light can be inserted into the holster, so I would not recommend cutting it away in an attempt to allow the HL-X to fit.

Yes, you could use SHS clips to cant the holster.

Only the lever is metal. The remainder of the buckle is polymer.

We designed our own key for that combo, and include it for free with every Ember holster for the xMacro

I don't know. It might, but super thick gun belts are a challenge. I'd recommend Soft Loops over DCC Mod4 Clips

We've made a bunch of changes since this video, so the layout you see here has been substantially revised. We stick with USPS because the overwhelming majority of our packages are under 1lb, and can travel safely in a padded mailer. UPS simply isn't price-competitive for us in that package class.
