That is a fabulous book and should be read by all who have an interest in transforming education

Individual vs national transformation require completely different strategies. Individual teachers bring their influence to their classroom and school and not to a national system. This is why we have advocated when speaking to governmental leaders, particularly in 2nd and 3rd world countries, not to invest into the obsolete dominant system, rather create an affordable alternative shadow system that bypasses many of the obstacles of the dominant system ie teacher unions etc.. Also there can be no transformation of a system without a vision of the future system. Without a vision of a new system all you can do in try and improve an obsolete system, which is foolishness. I address all of this in my first book, “Becoming Imaginal, Seeing and Creating the Future of Education”

I have long argued that the most effective strategy for transforming entrenched educational systems, particularly those governed by public entities, is through the establishment of an alternative, or “shadow,” system. This shadow system must not only challenge the prevailing system but must also demonstrate superior performance across all metrics to effect real change. The challenge lies in the scale necessary for such an endeavor; individual Christian schools, while impactful on a smaller scale, lack the capacity to drive national transformation alone. Our ambition is to establish a national shadow system robust enough to exert significant influence within the educational sphere. For the United States, this would mean creating an alternative system serving at least 100,000 students. This is the bold vision we are championing globally.
