Novus Ordo nonsense. This is a great song from Ecclesites, but not for a Catholic Choir. You guys need to practice real sacred music… it’s called GREGORIAN CHANT and it’s the Church’s greatest musical and artistic contribution ever. Why we gave it up is beyond me.

The organ and brass band must be playing with the church choir, you'll that one, and I do like that one also.

This the moving piece I have heard on some time. Questions why was this Particular piece chosen for the late princess Diana’s funeral procession of existing the church?

An absolutely gorgeous presentation of a psalm I will be proclaiming for Pentecost 2023. This inspires me to "pull out all the stops" and sing with joy.

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul! What wondrous love is this, O my soul! What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul, to bear the dreadful curse for my soul! To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing; to God and to the Lamb I will sing; to God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM, while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing, while millions join the theme, I will sing. And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on; and when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on. And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing his love for me, and through eternity I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on, and through eternity I’ll sing on.

Un tempo est proposé par le compositeur. C'est peut-être pas mal de s'en approcher un peu, non ?

I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above, Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love; The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test, That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best; The love that never falters, the love that pays the price, The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice. And there's another country, I've heard of long ago, Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know; We may not count her armies, we may not see her King; Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering; And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase, And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace. Farewell to Her Majesty

One of family decided this was his favorite. I’ll never forget that 🙏🏻 Just a quiet moment with God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. How does it go Fr. Jeff? “always in His love and never outside His grace…”. Something on which I meditate almost always.

What wonderful memories. This song was composed the year of my birth. I can hear my mom, Sis Huguley, singing this song as she played the piano for her church choir. Miss me some Dolores.
