Tweezers to drop the spark plugs down the hole? Did you lose the rubber insert that holds the the plug in the socket? That's a good way to change the plug gap by a random measurement.

@@73SDR Yes, I do think I lost the rubber insert. But I used the tweezers to slowly place the spark plug at the bottom of chamber. In my honest opinion it is not like I was dropping them from the top of the cylinder head.

Hi George what a amazing repair. Today my c124 mercedes front window went down but did not go back up. I swapped the switches around and it didn't work. Then I took door panal off and gave motor live and earth but it didn't go up or down. Do you think I need a new motor ? Or a regulator to? Thanks George your advice is appreciated 👍🏻

Thank you for the kind words! I would assume the motor is broken as I did gave mine live off the car and it worked.

@@wajidrashid8517 In my situation, before taking anything off, I could hear the motor working, and grind noise without the window moving. That meant that the motor was working just the teeth were used.

Thank you George, yes i tried live direct to motor but nothing, no noisr no sound no movement, tomorrow i will raje out regulator and buy new motor and fit back .@@iamgeorge1146

Thank you Roby! To be honest, I do not remember. Trial and error for 1 hour. Put a battery charger on the car and a lot of moving the window up down. Also compared the possition to the other side door.

I have the same engine on a w202 But It doesn't have a MAF sensor Now I have bad acceleration, rough idle and sometimes it revs by itself Any suggestions?

I wish I could bring some wise words but still working on the rust. Sounds like a throttle or vacuum leak to me. Check all ingnition bits, injectors and oxigen sensor.

Hallo, Mein Shop empfiehlt 10W40 oder 15W40 Castrol. Das habe ich verwendet und der Motor läuft bei 113.000 Meilen perfekt. Wenn Sie das Fahrzeugbuch haben, können Sie dort nachsehen, aber ich habe meins verloren.

I have checked my W124 and the window dose not drop when opening the door. It must have a different design that I am not aware of, some say it os the way they designed the seal around the body where the door closes. The CLS windows do drop when opening the door and they have a sensor, switch for that.

Hi! I remember reading something about using a certain torque and then you have to tighten a few more degrees. Probably unnecessary but that was the information at the time.

Hi there The passenger side window on my c124 has stopped working - so I will need to look at he regulator and the motor. Before I do, what do the rivets do? What do they hold in place? And are they essential?

Hi Beechams the exact thing happened to me today, I put my passenger window down and it didn't go back up. I then shaped switches around and no luck. I have took off door card and there is a black and green wire going to the motor and I have fed those wires with live and neutral direct. but window don't go up or down . I'm a bit stressed and it's made my anxiety go through the roof 🙈

When attempting to remove any connecting rubber hose from a fitting- heating it with a heat gun will make the job much easier (wear protective gloves).

The screw for that you have asked is one of 2 screws for adjusting the low stop (how deep will the window go down)

Injector seat was cleaned with "Diesel injector seat cutter kit" only light use and think I used the flat head from the kit. Got the rest out with a vacuum.

Thank you for your videos, I have Mercedes 220e 1993 engine 111960 with alarm with 80000km that slept for 12 years in a garage. I just turned it back on but I can't hear the noise of the fuel pump. Is that the noise I hear in your video? I'm lost. I'm going to change the spark plugs too. When I deactivate the alarm the fuel gauge does not work and I activate the alarm it works. I believe there is a circuit cut on these cars connected to the alarm with fuel pump and gauge pump. Thanks for your answers ☺️🙏

Hi, do you know if the Launch CRP 429C is capable of ABS bleeding on a 2011 Renault Megane 3 (European model)? I followed the instructions on my CRP 429C but it kept saying 'vehicle not equipped' (or similar wording). Or am I doing something wrong? Many thanks, Ken.
