This song is truly AMAZING!!!!! I'm in my 50's now and was just in 8th grade when it came out. I will play this song for my kids at school. They are about the same age as me when this song came out. This song so encapsulates the feeling of every guy in the 80s that just couldn't figure out how to tell her.

Danny also played a Les Paul Custom with his self designed & built Magic Dingus box. He could control the Echoplex and the Leslie cabinet he used. If you haven't seen them, check out the Redneck Jazz Explosion vids to see that in action (though you can't see the Leslie, you can hear it at times).

Love with Arthur Lee was very popular on the Sunset Strip in LA in the Sixties. In fact they played the Whiskey aGo Go and the Doors Jim Morrison said that their goal at the time they were coming up was to be as popular as Love was! Love was the hottest band then. The Doors surpassed them and became the Whisky’s house band eventually.

From the first time I heard Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" in the Spring of 1967, and heard those perfect notes on Stephen Still's guitar, I knew that life would never be the same.

I was one of those tree top flyers back in the 70 s and early 80s. Unfortunately, after retirement, the government came and hit me with a RICO indictment for smuggling 200 tons of weed. Served 10 fucking years in federal prison. Now my son owns a legal weed business Massachusetts, and no fear of going to prison. GO FIGURE

Danny didn,,t realise he was out of the ordinary as a guitarist. He was at a guitar workshop showing some decent players some of his standard riffs and licks and he could not understand why none of them could follow or grasp what he was playing. What Danny found easy. Was impossible for normal guitarists
