Well, can't really teach that in a tutorial. But it doesn't take much to not crash into the ground in the first seconds (and please avoid doing that - you are taking a super valuable asset away from the team). I suggest taking a good look at the controls before a match and figuring out what button does what. Once you've done that, hop into a match, try to get a spawn in a heli at the start of the game. But don't go attacking straight away - take a minute to familiarize yourself with how those controls you learned about impact the movement of it, begin trying to navigate around the map a bit and understanding how the momentum works. Just get an intuitive feel for it. And fly as often as you can. You can only learn by doing.

In this game there's more momentum and makes it tougher to fly. Battlefield 4 and BF2042 are too easy compared to this game. In Delta Force it feels much slower, and you can't be getting all crazy bouncing around like in BF2042

Haha! What makes you think that? The flight controls in this game are not broken. In fact the controls in this game are similar to BF2042... 🤣Many other players fly just as well as I do. Are they cheating too. 😂😂The helicopter fly's pretty good for Alpha test but does requires some adjustments. If you would like to fly better maybe check out my latest video on how to fly this bird. Flying any aircraft in a video like this should not be easy and requires practice. It's years of playing flight sims and other attack helicopter games that have helped me get better.

Wow! Thank you, I really appreciate it. No need to apologize, I enjoyed reading your comment. As for the radar detection you're 100% correct. I wish they never did that in Battlefield. I am definitely impressed with flying this bird in Delta Force so far too. It can use some minor adjustments to eliminate some of the clunky feel to it and then it would be perfect. I do notice some mouse sensitivity issues going on and is possibly a bug. The movement doesn't feel fluid and can use some smoothing out. It seems to be with subtle movements. I am going to do some more testing and try different things. I will be uploading soon some Air to Air combat in this game. I use the anti-vehicle rockets for air to air. I have not tried the air-to-air missiles. Yes, if you go toe 2 toe with another pilot and both using air-to-air missiles it's a 50/50. I always try my best to strategically attack another helicopter when they least expect it. As you know, one of the challenges with flying is you have too always be looking around (head on a swivel). Visibility when flying in this game needs some improvement. I find it difficult at times, so I am always using the map to pick out my targets, because in this game you can pin the target on the map. A rear-view camera would be nice or just better visibility when flying in 3rd person.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I hear ya, those are still great games today. I have those BF titles. I flew a lot in BF4 but not really much in BF1. Unfortunately, I don't play those anymore due to my busy schedule. Whatever time I have available I usually play other newer games.

Oh yes, you are not alone. The controls are not where they should be. It feels like a feedback issue. It's not smooth at all and feels choppy at times. The Yaw always goes way too far and of course there is lag when flying in the alpha

Oh, definitely the FOV needs to be more than 130. Needs to be around 200 or more. To be honest, hovering up high and doing nothing is so boring. The devs are aware of the spamming going on. This same thing happened when BF2042 first came out. I will be requesting the devs to fix this in this game. A decent or good pilot and a good gunner don't need to be just sitting there hovering. Plan the attacks together and really clean house. I cannot wait for my squad mates that I normally play with can play be able to play this game so they can be my gunner. I will share an experience I had the other day. A random player jumps in with me and was complaining over the coms/mic because he wanted me to just hover up high. No way did I do that. He either gets good and scanned the area with me or get out. A few games later I had another random player join me and he was an amazing gunner. He was calling out targets for us. I was flying around doing what I normally do and communicating with him. He pulled off 56 kills and I was not hovering. Another thing I would like to share is if you want to be on top of the leaderboard you do not need kills to do it. It's all about those points and destroying armor and aircraft racks up way more points. For example, check out my other helicopter video kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoi6Z4SKZcmBa6s. At minute 8 15 I am at the top of the leaderboard with only 19 kills (halfway through the match), but the player below me had more kills. The reason I was on top was my 11323 points. Armor kills average over 2k points per kill. That's a lot. Have fun keep practicing and I hope you get better. We need more good pilots in this game.

@@ExactPlanet0 Oh yes, I own the Apache in DCS and all of the campaigns/missions. I purchased the Apache when it was first launched in its beta form. Today It's still labeled "early access" which is funny to me. There are other helicopters in dcs but I never purchased them. I have not played dcs in a long time. It's a fantastic sim though.

When the final launch of this game is released i would expect there to be some much needed adjustments to this helicopter. We shall see. It would be nice to have jets or other helicopters. Transport helicopters would be a cool feature.

@@prezzbelikeme Flying in BF2042 is way too easy. Hopefully the aircraft in this game (delta force) will get some fine-tuning adjustments. The speed needs to be bumped up just a tad. I have to agree after years later BF2042 helicopters are flying better then day of launch. This will be the same for any game, hence the reason for all of the testing going on. I am so happy the devs are allowing us to test and provide feedback. That's a great start already, versus the terrible support Dice did to us all in BF2042

Oh, I have had my moments when flying. Usually, hard roll and aggressive pitch brings on some lag. It should get better when full release. I have to keep reminding myself this is the alpha test. It's frustrating though
